    Description

Small farm in Co Kildare, in final year of organic conversion. Cows, dogs, hens and veg garden. The house is a beautiful 300 year old Georgian farmhouse, set in 80 acres of grassland and trees. We farm organically and to regenerative principles, successfully encouraging a nature reserve for birds and animals. You may be lucky enough to see a kingfisher or otter by the stream, the red squirrels that have recently returned or even the beautiful barn owl sweep by at dusk.
You would NOT be required to take care of the herd of native Irish Dexter and Kerry rare breed cattle, as a local farmer will take care of that; however you will need to feed and walk the 3 dogs, feed & water the hens and do some light tasks in the kitchen garden.
We are about 40 minutes from Dublin by car and 2 hours from Galway. There is good rail and bus service to the local village.
