Description
Our property is situated in Geeveston in the Huon Valley. Our 70acre property/farm sanctuary is close to great bush walks and within walking distance to town and regular buses to Hobart.
We rescue and look after a menagerie of animals. At this point we have: chickens, roosters, ducks, pigs, alpacas, goats, sheep, ponies, geese and cows. We are in the process of establishing our property on permaculture principles, and regenerating the land so we can look after more animals in need.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We live in a beautiful area of Tasmanai close to wonderful walks and not far from lots of tourist attractions. Our little town has a great sense of community and is a terrific example of an Australian town. During your stay with us you will learn lots of new skills, eat plenty of healthy nutrtious food and hopefully have lots of fun!
Help
Our sanctuary needs volunteers with a variety of skills. There are always different projects we are working on depending on the time of the year and animal care is constant (And lots of fun). Your time is a huge gift and we appreciate it enormously. The sanctuary could not run without our volunteers! :)
