Hi, I'm a Spanish 40 year old lady and I have recently bought a flat in Edinburgh. The flat is situated South of city, well connected by bus links (city centre is about 20 mins by bus). I will need help assembling furniture, cleaning and moving furniture around (no heavy lifting). The flat would be for your whole use, and it would be half empty when you arrive, but definitely will have a double bed, duvets and a kitchen table with 2 chairs.
Help in the house
The flat will be mostly for your sole use, you will have lots of independence that will allow you to explore the city at your will. I speak English, Spanish and Italian- Happy to practice any of those 3 languages with you while we assemble an Ikea wardrobe :-)
I will need help assembling furniture, cleaning and moving furniture around (no heavy lifting). 3 hours per day (this can be arranged flexibly i.e: one day 4 hours and the next 2 hours...)
Mostly whole use a top floor flat. 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, bathroom. Please be aware that the flat will be half empty when you arrive as I will need help with furniture assembly. I will make sure that at least there is a double bed, duvets and a kitchen table with 2 chairs.
professional painters may also need access to the flat for a few days.
Edinburgh is crammed with historic buildings: castles; town houses; cottages, etc. My favourite areas are he Old and the New Town (easily reachable form the flat).
The art galleries are wonderful and there are hidden gems of art, such as the Phoebe Anne Traquair murals, which are gems of the Arts and Crafts and Celtic Revival movements, scattered over the city. The Edinburgh Filmhouse is another cultural treasure if you like art house cinema.
December is a wonderful time to visit, Princess street wardens are in full live with the Christmas markets and shoppers. A direct bus will take you from the flat straight there
