    Description

We have a small beautiful paradise here at the hills of Himalayas, joined together to make this place a wonderful and a lifetime experience for everyone who comes stays with us. We are hosting our farm stay to all the people out there regardless of their race, culture, color or nationality. We are here to spread love through music, yoga, food, good conversation...and a lot more.
We read and write a lot, like to experiment with food, extend our help to others, care for them.

We are living and maintaining an old beautiful house and field located atop of a remote village called Kalgha, 32kms from Bhuntar in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. It lies adjacent to the luscious gurgling blue waters of the Parvati river, where you can enjoy the tranquility and peace offered by nature.

Our place works as a hostel for pilgrims trekking to Kheerganga,as a shelter and workspace for artists, explorers, peace lovers...
An artsy place located above all the apple orchards below, we regard ourselves as a part of the family of a folk spread in the universe sharing knowledge, wisdom and love.
We have vast open fields of alpine beauty with breathtaking views. You can enjoy the quietness and watch the slow pace of daily existence here.
It is the perfect place to break your journey to any of the popular treks from Kalgha as it is situated on a good height at the very end of the village where the trek starts.

    What we offer:
We offer 2 shared bedroom with a common shared bathroom and toilet. (You will share the space with fellow travellers or volunteers)
Common kitchen is for everyone's access. There's an outside fireplace which is commonly used when it's not rainy, but don't you worry we also have an in-house tandoor where you can have great conversation and unlimited chai :)

All kinds of skills and ideas are welcome to be brought along, to be able to share and make learning sessions for others as well.
Photographers can contribute to our collection of beautiful images around the place ( sorry, we are dilettants)
We see our space more as a community platform.

Please feel free to roam around as you like. Our spaces are open and inviting, your participation in whatever is welcome, your contribution of whatever, material and non-material, will be honored.

  • Help

    Help

Since it is a touristic place there are a lot of plastic wastes discarded and dumped here and there.
    • Help in collecting plastic waste as we are practicing plastic waste management.
To keep this area beautiful and clean, we are collecting plastic waste around this locality. So travelers can help with ideas
for reusing or teaching proper ways of disposal or help with building useful stuff or creative art out of plastic trash.
    • Help on our farm. We got a small farm around the house for gardening and farming. Any kind of help, or anybody
interested in experimenting on mud are also welcome.
    • Study and collection of herbs in the Himalayas

The most important help we need is to make use of all the plastic trash into reusable kind or art firms. We would like to have serious workers who can help us, and provide us with different farming techniques also.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Kalgha, one among the trio with Tulga and Pulga.
A tiny village with its off-beaten tourist trail, away from the hustle and bustle of village life and known for it's solitudinous atmosphere.
The speciality of this place lies in the amazing trekking routes to various places like Kheerganga, Bhun Bhuni, Pin Parvati. etc.
We are surrounded by vast open fields, apple trees and pine trees.
From the house you will be able to spot the local village life, the sheep and a herd of cows all led by the shepherd.
The people around are all very friendly and helpful.

Feel free to roam around and explore every nook and corner of our place.
Watch the agricultural works of the season, maybe learn how it's done.
Follow the process of hemp oil, local ghee..etc.
Feed the cow, sheep (no plastics)
Do what you like, do so much, or do nothing but take in the sights of the valley, the hills and the clouds beneath you.
