    Description

We are a family of two living close to the sea and city centre in Dublin City, with a cat and a dog and a a no dig garden, looking for a culinary inspired guest to come and share our space, hang out and chat. Dog walking and spending time with my son who has varying interests such as martial arts and film making and animation would be great too. We always have home decor projects that needs attending to: so really open to negotiating the arrangement with the right person. Who must - my son insists- be able to deal with his edgy humour!

  • Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are in a quiet safe central location with lots of green space. You will have access to the city centre or beach, both just 20 minutes cycle or bus ride away, so can choose between the city bustle, museums, and pubs, or Dollymount beach or St Anne’s Park as an expansive space.
We love good conversation over a shared meal, or a film on the home cinema, or an open fire on dark nights. The house is relaxed and easy going, at the weekends we usually head off for an adventure walking the dog in some new place, or canoeing. We love to learn about other cultures and share gardening knowledge.

  • Help

    Help

We would like some help with the garden, cooking, and diy projects. Mostly, we enjoy the company and chat, the labradoodle likes to be walked- he is an old soul in a one year old body, my son loves to chat and we love watching films and are known to drink some wine on occasion. So it’s as much a cultural exchange as task oriented.

    What else ...

We are close to buses, the local Dart and Connolly train station.
We are a quiet house with a teenager so it’s not the best house for late night revellers, but we are very open minded and appreciative of diversity and difference.
