Description
We are an association focused on a rural area, where we´ve been working for 11 years now, in activities either social, educatives and working in the countryside, with our garden, building different aereas and giving a chance to create some impact in a small society as ours. We have been working with volunteers from different programs, as European Solidarity Corps, where we are still working.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
They will be able to learn the basics of permaculture, they will find a small village where the community is used to live with volunteers, the social activities we have been creating for a lot time now and they will have the space to use their work in an activity they believe in, giving them the freedom of create something by their own, with our help, such as an exposition in our museum, a social event for the village, receiving guitar lessons from someone of the village... The opportunities are great here for those who really wants to embrace this kind of opportunity with an open mind and the chance to learn a lot of new skills and values.
Help
We look for volunteers that want to learn in a lot of different areas, and also to teach us in them or any others, we have been multitasking for 11 years, where our volunteers spent 3 mornings per week in our garden, learning the foundaments of permaculture, while in the afternoons they used to do activities with children, helping and learning from the people of our association, our schedule is thought with the idea to make the volunteers work hard in the garden, building spaces or cleaning paths around our villages but giving them the chance to develop any activity they want in order to learn from them or teach them, we are a small team and our job here is to create social alternatives for a rural aerea.
Our volunteers will be receiving help from all of us and we will grow together in the terms of work, share and solidarity within our community.Languages

The place where the volunteers will live will be a flat or a house with 3 to 4 bedrooms (depends on the group) with shared room, full equiped with kitchen, bathroom, saloon and all the stuff needed. They will share a room with one volunteer and the houses have everything that you might expect from a home. The houses have been used from a lot of time for volunteers in other programs and is one of the points that we care the most, because we really value the rest, the comfort and the privacy of our volunteers. About the food, we will give the volunteers money for giving them the chance to cook and eat whatever they want, and also giving them the chance to manage the money and the cleaning/sharing of the house expenses. (The light, water and the inherent expenses of the house will be covered by us).
What else ...
The reality of this village is very rural as all Extremadura, we live in a rural aerea, in a village called Plasenzuela, where the public transport is limitated, but the beauty of this place itself is undeniable, also, 15 minutes from here is one of the most beautifull places of Spain, Trujillo, where you can go by bus, also, 30 minutes away is Cáceres, the capital of the region and a really beautifull city aswell.
