  Description

  We are a couple of almost 50 years old with 3 grown children, including 2 boys still at home (17 and 19 years old). Nathalie works in the early childhood sector as a nursery director.
  Pierre resumed his studies for 1 year and has just graduated. He is looking for a job again. the practice of English is crucial for him!
  We will therefore be active both when we welcome and the exchanges will take place more in the evenings and on weekends.

  Nous sommes un couple de presque 50 ans avec 3 grands enfants, dont 2 garçons encore à la maison (17 et 19 ans). Nathalie travaille dans le secteur de la petite enfance comme directrice de crèches.
  Pierre a repris ses études 1 an et vient de réussir son diplôme. Il recherche à nouveau du boulot. la pratique de l'anglais est cruciale pour lui !
  Nous serons donc en activité tous les 2 lorsque nous accueillerons et les échanges se feront plutôt les soirs et les week-end.

  Help

  We want to improve our English... This is our main motivation! This will necessarily involve times of exchange during the week, with sharing of meals, cultural or other activities to be defined. For an optimal exchange, our host must feel at home, and we will do our best to do so. He will just be asked to participate "a little" in the tasks of the house, in the same way as the members of the family.

  Nous voulons améliorer notre anglais ... C'est notre principale motivation ! Cela passera forcément par des temps d'échanges dans la semaine, avec partage des repas, activités culturelles ou autres à définir. Pour un échange optimal, notre hôte doit se sentir chez lui, et nous nous y emploierons. Il sera juste demandé de participer "un peu" aux tâches de la maison, au même titre que les membres de la famille.

  Accommodation

  Our house is made up of 3 levels.
  You will have a private apartment on the lower level of 40m2 (bedroom, bathroom, fitted kitchen, WC, living room of 20m2). The laundry room will be our only common area. You will have a private outdoor terrace and private access to part of the garden.

  Notre maison est composée de 3 niveaux.
  Vous disposerez d'un appartement privatif au niveau inférieur de 40m2 (chambre, salle d'eau, cuisine équipée, WC, pièce de vie de 20m2). La buanderie sera notre seule partie commune. Vous aurez une terrasse extérieure privative et accès privatif à une partie du jardin.

  We are located 45 minutes from Lyon by public transport (bus stop 200 meters away).
  In your (important) free time, you can do whatever you want, even work somewhere else if you want to earn some money.
