    Description

We are a small family with a large rescue dog. We are young professionals and have a new house and have started from scratch with our garden. We both like to travel, hike, swim, and eat good food. My husband likes to boulder and I like to do spin! We live near the beach, hiking trails, and essential stores. We're looking for help with our garden as it is still being established, as well as help with some home maintenance and organization. Our dog will always be up for a walk if you want to walk her!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are both native English speakers, but I also speak French and Spanish. I am more than happy to help teach you English. We also can show you around the Sunshine Coast as well as other areas, such as Vancouver. We can show you what it's like living in a coastal town on Canada's west coast. We like to have campfires at the beach, go to lakes, hike, and have potlucks. You are more than welcome to join us.

  • Help

    Help

You would be mainly helping with the garden, planting, weeding, watering, and pruning. Some projects may be pressure washing, putting up lights, etc... If you like to organize, you are more than welcome to help organize closets, the kitchen, and bathroom cabinets. Our dog is always up for a walk and we are close to forested trails if you like being out in nature. If you enjoy cooking, feel free to cook up some meals. We want you to enjoy what you're doing so we can discuss what you like and don't like, but we primarily need help in the garden so if you don't like garden work, we might not be the right match!
