Our volunteer project suposed to be a community based project organized as an integrated multi-stakeholder-aproach through the cooperation of several community groups like
the Beach Management Unit,
the Women Group,
the Healthcare Group,
the Primary School,

Depending on the interests of the Volunteer,
he/she can decide how to get involved, to help the community groups with their work.
It is even possible to reactivate the former volunteer concept, witch attemt to establish a marine conservation, a comunity conservation and a medical assistence program in the community.
The former project have not been realised due some unforseen incidents and the lack of organisational support.
You could help us to start with a new beginning!

During the project, accommodation will be with host families who are carefully selected with respect to the facilities available. The volunteers will have their own rooms and share meals with the family. Drinking water will be provided. Fresh meals are provided on a daily basis and are mostly fish freshly caught from the sea.
The volunteer can get the experence of taking part in the comunity live of a traditional fishermen village Mkwiro on the beautifull Wasini island directly netxt to the most beautifull National Park and Marine Reserve of Kenya. Dolphin tours, Safari Blue and sunset cruise
