    Description

    Hi!
My name is Concha, and I’m an enthusiastic language trainer living in a small, peaceful village near Zaragoza. About ten years ago, I opened my own language place, where English is not taught as a school subject but lived as a way to communicate, connect, and become an open-minded citizen of the world.
I strongly believe in natural language learning — the same way we acquire our mother tongue: through communication, interaction, games, and real-life situations. That’s the way my kids (16 & 7 years old) learnt English and Spanish.

I’m looking for native English speakers who would like to stay with my family for a few days (or longer, depending on availability) and share everyday life with us. The main goal is to help my children improve their English naturally, through daily conversations, meals, games, routines, and family activities — no formal teaching required. It’s a project based on reverse language immersion, bringing the language and culture into our home and our community.

We offer accommodation, meals, and a warm family atmosphere, as well as the opportunity to experience authentic village life in Spain. This project is ideal for people who enjoy cultural exchange, family life, education, and a slower, more meaningful way of living.

We are especially interested in Workawayers with some experience with children, but above all, we value openness, kindness, and the willingness to share your culture and language naturally.

If this project resonates with you and you’d like to be part of our English club and community, don’t hesitate to contact us.

It’s never too late — there’s no treasure like human connection.

Our village is located 25 km away from Zaragoza, one of the biggest cities in Spain, from which you can take the AVE (high speed train) and reach Madrid or Barcelona in less than 1h 30min.
Leciñena village has got a lively social life which allows you to interact easily with the community. There are supermakets, a library, sports centre, bars and restaurants where the locals meet for a drink and a good chat. It's in the middle of Monegros, the alive desert of Europe, so you will be impressed by its astonishing landscape. If you enjoy sports there are lots of routes you can cycle or hike.
There no foreigners here, so it is the best of the opportunities to improve your Spanish in a welcoming safe environment. It is not a must, though. We all speak English in my family!
