Description
My wife's and my knowledge, experience and passion for gardening and outstanding homes are as strong as ever; we are here to make the best of every square meter of our space in Canyamel on the island of Mallorca we've got. In the gardens, we are growing things we can eat, that smell lovely and look beautiful. We want to relax and ‘lose ourselfs’ in the beauty and fragrance of our garden and splendid house in Canyamel, a place above the sea side, in the sun and fresh air that feels like a natural extension of mothers nature. The Workawayer will be part of our family and day to day life in Canyamel. She/he will experience the cultural realities of a retired Swiss/German couple living in Spain on Mallorca. She/he lives and stays with us at the same premises during this time, may it be working or conversing about themes of general and special interest.

Help
As both of us are getting elder, we need from time to time a German speaking helping, a friendly experienced and willing hand in garden and home maintenance and upkeep, in planting, home and installations upkeep and care, in pruning, painting, tidying of borders and stockrooms as well as removal of old prunes and plants.

Accommodation
The self-contained guest suite is located on the ground floor of our house without a kitchen, with a refrigerator, with a shower/toilet and a separate entrance. The chic accommodation is tastefully furnished and equipped. Satellite TV and WiFi internet access. This includes the approx. 15 m2 private terrace with picturesque views over the Costa towards Menorca, the beach, the mountains all the way to Menorca. As a professional Chef, Hotelier and Gourmet, it is the husband preparing the food for everyone eating with us here in Canyamel. There are only a few people around here getting this rare privilege.

Die in sich unabhängige Gästesuite liegt im EG unseres Hauses ohne Küche, mit Kühlschrank, mit Dusche/WC und separatem Eingang. Die schicke Unterkunft ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Satelliten TV und WiFi Internetzugang. Dazu gehört die ca. 15 m2 private Terrasse mit malerischen Ausblick über die Costa Richtung Menorca, auf den Strand, die Berge bis nach Menorca.
What else ...
The beautiful sandy beach of Canyamel Beach can be reached in just 3-5 minutes. With its romantic rocky bays, it tempts you to do beach and water sports or just relax. The tourist/historical towns of Capdepera, Artà, Cala Millor and Cala Ratjada, known for good infrastructure, shops, hotels and restaurants of all categories, nightlife, are only 5-10 km away. Canyamel can only be reached to a limited extent by public transport. Without your own vehicle, mobility is limited. Scooters are available for rent in Cala Ratjada, about 10 km away. A bicycle is available for free use.
Der wunderschöne Sandstrand von Canyamel Beach ist in nur 3-5 Minuten zu erreichen. Er lockt mit romantischen Felsenbadebuchten zu Strand- und Wassersport oder zum Entspannen. Die touristischen/historischen Ortschaften Capdepera, Artà, Cala Millor und Cala Ratjada, bekannt für gute Infrastrukturen, Geschäfte, Hotels und Restaurants aller Kategorien, das Nachtleben, sie sind nur 5-10 km entfernt.
Canyamel ist nur bedingt mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Ohne eigenem Fahrzeug ist die Mobilität eingeschränkt. Scooter werden im ca. 10 km entferntem Cala Ratjada vermietet. Ein Fahrrad steht zur freien Verfügung.
