    Description

Welcome to our wonderful farm! Between the Moroccan imperial cities Fes and Meknes lies our piece of land of 10 hectares. Here we want to develop a new type of tourism!

We want to create a space that is unique in its appearance and where people are welcome to live and camp.
Our roots are based on permacultural philosophies, ecologic farming and thriving to be self sufficient. And for all the artsy and musically gifted people out there: we would also like the place to be beautiful and some background music is always appreciated! Feel free to use the instruments we have lying around.

To be able to manifest our project we need open minded people to act, create and get in contact with the place, nature and animals. The place is already buzzing with animals: chickens, sheep, goats, dogs, cats and a very funny little donkey called Marie Jeanne. They are a joy to have around but we need some human hands and enthusiasm to finish some ongoing projects. For now we are working on a water reservoir, renewing the water system and of course the garden is continuing to grow and needs attention.
Apart from that you are free to come with your own ideas! Some people felt like building things like a bug hotel and an outside shower which we are now very happy with.
We also are building a tipi that need some finishing touches.

The land is owned by a Moroccan/Swiss man. He is not always around, so you will probably only see me, Ben. So a bit more about me: I am 27 and originally from France. I was on my way to Morocco on the Ferry when I met Hamid (the owner) and he told me about his land and how he wanted to transform to a eco camping. Well... that was all that it took! now, 8 months later, I am still at the farm trying to make it an amazing place and overseeing the improvements! I love to relaxed vibe here but I love it more when nice people come here to help!

There are always multiple projects that we are working on and our volunteers are very welcome to help and brainstorm!
But for now, we are working on a water reservoir, the water system, the garden, a tipi and a yurt. However, there are many more things that you can do. Sometimes we might ask if you want to help with a certain job, but most of the time you are free to help as you please.
Helping on these projects you can expect things like painting, demolishing, cleaning, building and gardening.

Water tap its clean to drink but volunteers can buy bottle waters in town if they don't wanna feel confortable to drink the local one
We share the bathroom but you are also welcome to use the outdoor shower or our eco toilet. You can have a great view from there! ;)
The kitchen is common space to use for everyone and fruits is always provide and breakfast ( bread, olive oil, fruits, tea) keep in mind you have to prepare by your self at morning
About the cooking: for lunch you can help your self, there is a close market that you can get vegetables to cook on your own, for dinner we eat most of time together like a family and share it, you are welcome to join or feel free to cook also on your own
