Description
Situated half-way between the North and South of Tenerife is a small village - 6 km’s from the Ocean.
I bought a Finca/old homestead in this village in 2018 (which had been closed up for over 9 years). Parts of the house date back to the early 1900’s. It has three levels with exceptional views of the sea. It also came with 2 hectares of terraced land with rich, fertile soil.
Many challenges have beset the project, and delays aplenty - not least being Covid...
The old homestead has now been converted into three totally independent units.
Contracting outside builders has been a TOTAL nightmare - and the finishes leave much to be desired. So much needed assistance in repairing these 'mess ups' is now required.
But the project is now finally starting to take shape. The land, and terraces now need to be prepared, and landscaped.
Please note:/ No transport is offered. The Finca is not full of happy-go-lucky travellers - so the ability to be self sufficient and not dependent on hordes of people around you to keep you entertained must be appreciated. But you will find peace - especially the silence and being able to observe the stars - which are plentiful and awesome.
Gay owner - and all workawayers must be comfortable with the LGBQT+ community.Types of help and learning opportunities

My interests are varied and include History; The Arts; Travel and Food - to mention a few. I am gay, so all workawayers must be comfortable with this. Mutual respect is essential and guaranteed. The village itself is akin to being in a time-warp - with all the old traditions still being practised:-
The Taverna’s offer typical and traditional food. Little or no English is spoken by the locals. The fruit, vegetables, and meat are all locally sourced, and the wine comes freshly pressed with no sulphites etc added! The village folk are extremely welcoming and friendly.Help
The assistance required is varied - and includes all skills required to renovate and restore an old property.
