Hello guys and gals. We are Manu, Ruben, Eris (8 years old) and Evren (2 years old) we are living on our land (4 hectares) in an Eco Village (quinta de Enterranha) that covers 45 hectares/ 111 Acres. We have our own land in the Eco Village. Now we are building our home! The Eco village is formed by almost 20 adult and 18 children of 10 families that each live on their own land. Three years ago we have built a school to do homeschooling with our children. It's the main collective project that unites the group. We also get together to share music and various arts like theater and acrobatic.
Each of us has our own land to create a personal project: homestead, house, garden, and each family has a space to enjoy the wonders of nature. The group wants to grow together on many fronts. We try to spend many moments together working and enjoying life.
Last year we started this project, and we chose a pristine place to create our own personal family homestead. Last year we cleared a road to come here with a big truck and little by little we cleaned the land to start building our house. We found a natural water source from the mountain to have fresh water.
We are now building the structure of the house and soon moving to put up and finish the walls. The exterior of the house will be done in Sept. We now are camping in tents, have an open-air kitchen, a mobile unit we can do computer work, and a compost toilet. The Wi-Fi here is good and available for your use.

The next steps to finishing building the house are:

1- Finish the roof structure, put hemp fiber isolation and shingle the roof.

2-we are finishing to Form the walls with light straw (an alternative technique to create walls in ecological mode, a mix of clay and straw.)

3- treat windows and doors wood!

4-every artistic ideas are welcome 😊

We have set up a camping space near the kitchen and construction of the house. We can use the river to wash our body and refresh when the days are very hot, but we only use ecological/ Bio soap. We also have a solar heated shower if the river is too cold.

We like to eat together with our Workaway workers. We provide the food for you to make breakfast as you like. Lunch and dinner are cooked for you.

The closest village is almost 15km from here, Enterranha pathway is also 3km of rural road! At the moment we don't have bikes!

We like so much to make acroyoga, acroaereo (Manu has a silk structure) and Eris and Evren love to dance and do stunts. :)

We are happy to share this adventure with Creative and Motivated people. We hope to meet people that we can exchange different cultures; people who like to live in direct contact with nature, people who respect nature, and all nature's creatures that live here with us.

Please send us a message to start your adventure.
