Description
On our farm, which is located 30 minutes from downtown Ottawa, we have a herd of Belted Galloway cows & pastured chickens and a variety of crops including corn, soybeans, wheat and hay. We practice both rotational grazing & regenerative farming practices to build our soils and provide sustainable beef & chicken to our customers. We both have full-time jobs which is why we are looking for help during the spring/summer/fall to help us around the farm with calving, fencing, moving cows, field work, etc.

In our house we have a large basement which we currently do not use, there is a private bedroom, full bathroom and living room for the travellers. The kitchen is on the main floor, we will look after all the groceries, we can take turns to prepare dinners.

Being close to downtown Ottawa there are many things to do around here, there are also many trails in our area, great for biking, walking etc. The Ottawa River can also be accessed at several points not to far away for someone who likes being on or in the water.
