Description
I live in Pemberton, British Columbia, with my two dogs. We're just 30 minutes north of Whistler, where you can ski in the winter and enjoy hiking and biking in the summer. The Pemberton Valley is incredibly beautiful, with easy access to a wide range of outdoor activities.
I live in a townhouse right in the heart of town, within walking distance of the grocery store and all the essential amenities.

Pemberton and Whistler offer a variety of events that cater to different interests. There is the Whistler Summer Concert Series throughout July and August, tons of quality restaurants, farmers markets, the Pemberton Valley Slow Food Cycle and of course, access to the Whistler Bike Park and all the biking and hiking trails in Pemberton. We are a 5 minute walk to the lake and you will have access to a stand up paddle board as well as a full suspension mountain bike.

I'm looking for a mature and reliable person to help with dog care while I'm at work during the day. I have a small senior dog who needs short, gentle breaks outside, and a larger, active dog who would love to join you on a walk or hike.

Accommodation
You will have your own bedroom that has a double bed, as well as your own bathroom in a three bedroom townhouse. The kitchen and living room are shared with me. You will have access to all utensils and pots and pans. However, you will be expected to stock yourself with your own groceries. There is tons of storage in the garage if you wanted to bring your own sporting equipment, such as a canoe, kayak, or mountain bike.
You will have access to laundry as well as the use of air conditioning, which is super nice in the summer.
What else ...
There is a transit service that takes you from Pemberton to Whistler. However, I am happy to coordinate a lift for you as well. There is an extra bike available to ride around town, but everything you need is a 5-10 minute walk from my home.
We are a quiet household and try to keep things as relatively neat as you can when you live in a house with dogs. We want you to enjoy being outdoors as much as possible and simply expect you to keep a tidy living area.
