    Greetings,

I am a singer songwriter living alone in a traditional Italian town in my large 4 story, historically old Palazzo in Guardia Sanframondi, Campania,BN.

Everything is walkable in this traditional Italian town ( 2 blocks - bus to Naples, 35 miles to Naples, with ferry boat to Capri, Amalfi Coast, etc. Mediterranean coast, . 2 hours to Rome. The Bus, near my house, goes to the Train in 10 minutes. I've included the last photos of Naples, Rome and Capri. First photos are of my town and house. Workaway allows only 12 photos - for more photos & questions we can correspond in whatsapp - leave your WhatsApp 📞 phone number.

    THREE CATS
Care for my three precious cats; A white/ blue eyed Ragdoll ( Aniella - the foster momma ) &
    TWO RESCUES ( since they were bottle fed :) a teenagers - Norwegian Forest Cat ( Andre - male ) and a Mekong Bobtail ( Sugar "Sugabear" - female ) .. .
    *************

Here it is a traditional Italian town where the locals speak very little to no English, though they are patient in helping you with your Italian speaking :) you will be able to really immerse yourself in the Traditional Italian language and culture :))

    * The house has 4 floors, is large, historic and very old, yet it has some really amazing original features. But do not expect a completely renovated house, though the spacious area you will live in has had renovations including a new marble bathroom, a lovely bedroom with queen new bed & Memory foam mattress .

The house was built in the medieval time originally - right side of the house has a separate door, is unfinished and you will NOT use the right side of the house or the large kitchen on 2nd floor. There is another kitchen top floor.

    - You will use the Left side of the house- where there have been restorations and a new marble bathroom added with tiled shower - there are two bedrooms with modern new mattresses - QUEEN beds that workaways can choose from; The YELLOW bedroom and the BLUE room ( Pictured in this post) is now painted Lavender :)
Thanks to a wonderful workaway couple :))

The 2nd floor top of stone entryway stairs has a very large kitchen that is NOT USED at this time because for only 1 or 2 people we use the 4th floor smaller kitchen - the large refrigerator in this 2nd floor big kitchen, will remain OFF and it’s refrigerator door open to keep aired out. - .

You will use the LITTLE kitchen on the 4th floor which leads to the ROOF TERRACE WITH A VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS :)) and a wood table for dining :)
This kitchen has an old fashion gas bombula stove, a new refrigerator, and an old fashion sink.
Off of this room is the roof terrace with some plants 🪴 and young lemon 🌳 🍋.

The terrace has an amazing view, overlooking the valley 🌞 & surrounding mountains 🌅 .

It is a nice spot to relax for meals, ☕️ 🥐 🍷 , while watching the sunrise or sunsets.

All the shops, 🛍️ restaurants, cafes, bars, groceries, 🛒 Sunday market etc. are all within walking distance and owned by the local Italians. Walking has inclines and steps if you cut through the medieval sections. or walk on the sidewalks around the town- - you must have good walking shoes :) nothing is a flat walk in this mountain town. Shops are on the Main Street about 1/2 mile from the house :) a few Restaurants and corner store just a couple blocks very close to the house . Cathedral w weddings etc is close and just top of my street .
Lovely fireworks & events often at this main church - little cathedral. 🏰

The young family members ( ages 20s & 30s operate the bars and cafes. ) there are many steps in the house and also in the town.

So this is not a place for people who are not able to climb stairs or inclined streets. but everything is easy to reach if you like to walk.

🚗 If you have a car you can park in front of the house, but the street is on an incline, so you must have good breaks, and non slip shoes. Also there are other places to park in town- inquire when we speak.

🥰 All the locals are very personable & outgoing. You will be greeted by most everyone. The shop owners will learn your name and greet you with conversation when you shop.

Come stay, enjoy the feeling of being a local in this fun & friendly Italian town!! Benvenuto !! “ Welcome !!

The locals mostly only speak Italian. The shops are all privately owned and run by the families children mostly, the young adults ( 20's-30's ) The locals are very friendly and enjoying meeting and learning from visitors. The medieval town has amazing history and gorgeous scenic views all around. There are often wonderful festivals and celebrations in the community. You will be welcomed by the locals as if you are family : )

I can host someone for several weeks to several months. I have three loving cats ( a blue eyed LIlac Ragdoll, a Norwegian Forest cat, and a blue eyed Mekong Bobtail. They need to be fed twice a day, cuddled and brushed at least once a day : ) One cat needs medicine ( an insulin shot under the skin ) with his morning and evening meals. It sounds scary but honestly, he doesn't even really notice it while he starts to eat :) the needle is so short and tiny, it just goes under the skin very superficially. I will show you if you're not familiar. Their food bowls should be clean for each meal with fresh water daily.

I need the house to be kept up, to stay clean, clean the kitty box a little each day, and dump in trash once a week to add fresh litter. I will of course supply everything for the cats. Sweeping and mopping etc clean up regularly to maintain the house cleanliness.

The house needs DIY work in some areas: you can choose a project based on your particular talents : ) we can discuss which project you would like to work on before you arrive - anywhere from painting or tiling, or refinishing of a table or window frame or organizing rooms.. I'm open for suggestions if you think of something while there.

I need people who are caring and conscientious for the animals and house.
I appreciate also to be careful with the electric bill like shutting off the lights when not in use since electric has lately become very costly in Italy.

There are four floors in the house. The bedroom has a Queen size bed and a Juliette balcony. There is a small country kitchen on the 4th floor with a clothes washing machine, a refrigerator, gas stove and a sink. This floor opens to the roof terrace. There is a new marble bathroom on the third floor. The shower heater needs to be shut off after each use please : ) Always use a bathroom rug on the marble floor to avoid slipping : )

Everything you need is walkable distance wishing in a mile . Streets have inclines OR cut through the medieval section, which has many steps.
If you'd like, there is a bus two blocks from my house ( Mon - Saturday ) that can take you to the train in Telese, which is 6 miles away. The bus also goes to Naples where you can take a ferry boat to Capri, or Ischia on just a day trip. Also visit Caserta, a town about 15 miles away, where you can visit the Royal Palace of Caserta, The largest palace built in Europe during the 18th century. It is the largest former royal residence in the world.
Also just enjoying a restaurant, bar or cafe in town is also a nice way to unwind. There are many ancient, pretty cobble streets to stroll down with your camera ready to capture all the amazing panoramic views. The skies in this town are always gorgeous, sun or clouds, sunrise, or sunsets. If you are an artist, you will love to paint or draw the amazing scenic views from the homes roof terrace or along your walks through the ancient town.
