    Description

Hello! We are Silvano and Deb. We are homesteaders who have a small to medium size egg and dairy farm and we want to practice permaculture methods when it comes to ranching. We've got many chickens, three cows, billy goats and does with some babies. We also have two horses and a friendly llama.

    Accommodation

You can stay in a tent or in the house that has kitchen, bath, and internet. We can provide an air mattress, sleeping bags, blankets and pillow. You would be room mates with a young adult couple if staying in the house - they are friendly and hospitable. If you want more privacy we can provide a tent and you may still use the facilities in the house at any time.

Paid work opportunity through help with farmers markets.

    What else ...

We live 15 to 20 minutes outside of Grass Valley and Nevada City, where there is lots of yummy restaurants and good music and social life, however due to the coronavirus some things are shut down right now. Some shops have reopened. You can go swimming and chase waterfalls and hike on trails at the yuba river which is about half an hour away (unless you go to bridgeport then it's 20 minutes away). Transportation by car is available.
