  Join our family in the Dutch countryside – children, cooking and creativity
  
  We are looking for a calm, friendly and proactive person who would enjoy becoming part of our family for a period of three weeks to a maximum of three months.
  
  We live in the countryside near Terschuur, in a very peaceful and rural environment. There is not much happening within walking distance, so this placement is especially suitable for someone who genuinely enjoys nature, quiet surroundings and spending time at home.
  
  Our family life is warm, open and lively, but it can sometimes be a little chaotic. I can also be somewhat unstructured at times. For this reason, we are looking for someone who is naturally calm, grounded and organised, and who can deal with a busy family environment without becoming overwhelmed. Someone who enjoys bringing a little calm and order into daily life would fit very well with us.
  
  Your mornings will generally be free, giving you time for yourself, your own work or creative projects. We would mainly appreciate your help in the afternoons and around dinnertime. This may include:
  
  * Picking up the children from school
  * Driving them to activities or clubs
  * Spending time with them, playing games or thinking of something fun or creative to do
  * Helping to prepare and cook the evening meal
  * Occasionally helping with some light household tasks
  
  A valid driving licence and confidence behind the wheel are therefore important.
  
  A creative person could fit in especially well with us. We may be able to offer you space inside the house to use as a simple studio or creative workspace. This could be a lovely place for an artist, maker, writer or other creative person who would like quiet mornings for their own projects alongside family life.
  
  You will stay in a very small and simple private space. It has its own toilet, but no full kitchen or bathroom. You are welcome to use the kitchen, bathroom and other facilities in our family home.
  
  We are looking for someone who is comfortable with simple living, enjoys the peace of the countryside and likes being part of a family while also being comfortable spending time alone.

  We live in the middle of the country, next to Barneveld. 5 km from a station. There is always someone who can take you to or pick you up from the train. Or there is a bicycle you can use, or someone who can drop you off or pick you up!
  Amersfoort is a city nearby and otherwise Utrecht or Amsterdam (50 minutes by car).
  If you are artistic yourself, there is always a place here to work on your own art.

  Help

  We live in the countryside and I am looking for someone who can support me in and around the house and with taking the children to school. I am a single mother and the children are 8 and 10 years old.
  I would describe us as a creative and conscious family with warmth and openness. I am training in weaving and am involved in ceramics. At the moment I am setting up an artist studio at home. We have a dog, a cat, 2 hamsters and chickens .
  My kids do speak English as we lived last year in Portugal for a year (and a little Portugese😊).
  
  We live in the countryside and if you have green fingers or ideas, there is always plenty of work to do here that would be so appreciated. We also have a communal vegetable garden that we share with other residents who also live here.
