Dani came as a workaway and left as a friend for life. I am so grateful for having had such a joyful, kind, considerate and generous person to help us. She came for a month and stayed for four and I wish she could have stayed forever! If you have the chance to host Dani take it, she is the absolute best.

I came for a month in the summer of 2018 and then Bella offered me a home through the winter. It was the best experience I ever had, and I fell in love with Scotland. I have been back many times since then (even happened to stay through a lockdown) and that is why my feedback is long overdue. Tabby and Anoushka are so much fun and the place is

I spent a wonderful month with Bella, Ali, Anoushka and Tabitha at Coulmore and I enjoyed every minute! 10 days so pleasant that I spent with Bella and Ali.
It was quick but great. I learned a lot about lambing and it was so interesting.
All the people on the farm were friendly :)
Little advice for people who hesitate to go to Bella's place: go for it!
Thank you, and I hope to see you soon;)

Our stay with Bella and Ally was fab! I was lucky enough to get some farm experience with Bella which was such good fun. Both Bella and Aly have an amazing way of not prejudging anyone. Bella is very sociable and loves workaways to become part of the family - so even though you live separately you are still very close. And I think if you’re a solo traveler this is a really lovely workaway for that social aspect. Bella has lovely friends and family that she quickly introduces you too and I feel lucky to have met a handful of them - especially our Ronja!
We were lucky enough to have a car which means we could explore the black isle with ease. I would say a car here is great because you really get to see a lot more of the East of Scotland. Inverness is a fab little city with great cafes and pubs.
Bella and I keep in touch and I know whenever I’m in Scotland I’ll pop by to see her and the family (now including Puppy!) thank you both for our first ever workaway experience xYou can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Lucie and Zdenda arrived just before lockdown and heroically spent it with us. They were wonderful, friendly, kind, open, considerate and a pleasure to spend lock down with. Lucie helped me in the house with cooking, cleaning, childcare and also in the accommodation with decorating and cleaning. She also worked outside with weeding and painting.

He is not as confident at speaking English as Lucie but has a great sense of humour and I wish they could have stayed the whole season. Due to covid they left earlier than planned and we were so disappointed to have found such perfect people to have helped us and for the business not to open as planned. We were very grateful though for the time they were with us from a work and friendship perspective and I look forward to seeing them again sometime. To any hosts I can thoroughly recommend them both.

I stayed with Bella and Ali for about 3 weeks. Sadly, I couldn't stay longer because I was running out of time. I stayed with Bella and her family for a little over a month. They are extremely welcoming and some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They were happy to help us explore the beautiful landscape around and take us with them whenever they went out.
The chores are really varied so that I had a lot of chances to learn something new and never got bored. During my time there I did all kinds of things: taking care of Anoushka, helping around the farm, cooking, change overs in the guest house, wall papering, painting or taking care of the pet lambs. Also: Bella is a really relaxed Mum and Anoushka an incredibly friendly child. That helped me a lot because I did not have a lot of experience in child care and was a little nervous for the first few days.
I had a really nice room all to myself and everyone was extremely kind about me being vegan. I miss them very much and highly recommend staying with them. I’m really grateful to have been there. All the best to them. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
