    If you want to experience the real life at an african rural village this is the right place. We are a traditional Ndebele family settled 14 km away of Victoria Falls. The chief of the village is a renowed herbal doctor and also fought for the liberation of his country so he has many good stories to tell.

    Get ready to immerse yourself fully in Ndebele tradition were people is very welcoming and willing to share things with you. You will also get many new learnings from the daily activities carried here.

    Here you will be welcomed as a member of our extended family, and as such you will join us in our daily work and activities.
    They consist in:
    Manual farming with traditional techniques, manual tools making, cooking local food with fire wood, sharing your skills with our grandchildren and family, eco building and mud plastering, decorating houses with natural tinctures, building shelter for elders, cow milking and goat heading, and many more!

  • Accommodation


    Shared traditional adobe circular hut (same gender). The hut is equiped with beds, mattresses, blankets and mosquito nets. We have tap water, cold shower, flush toilets and dry toilets. Sometimes the water service goes off and we fetch water from a close by tank. Warm bath is done with buckets. We use solar panels for usb phone charging.

    Our village is a few kilometers away from Victoria waterfalls, one of the most visited destinations of Africa. There is plenty of wildlife and beautiful places to visit. We can help you arrange different tours and visits to game parks as well as activities such as rafting, fishing, elephant riding, etc. Also if you are interested in local daily activities we can also introduce you to them.
    We will provide for 3 meals a day free of cost. Tea for breakfast and our traditional meals for lunch and dinner. If you have special diet requirements please let us know in advance to see if we can arrange that.
