    Description

We are an ecolodge based in the Chiriqui Highlands of Panama, the highest province in Panama.
In 1960, we bought land that was being deforested, planted trees and built a few cabins to create an ecotourist attraction. That land is now part of two parks- Volcan Baru National Park and La Amistad International Park.
We have 10 hotel rooms, 7 suites, 3 dorms and 7 cabins. We offer hiking tours, mountain biking, horseback riding, birding and also have a spa.

Our ecolodge is a truly unique place in the highlands of Panama that has a lot to offer and is wanting to improve every day more with outside knowledge and love. Our location is the cute town of Guadalupe, with hardworking farmers and artisans who welcome tourists every month. Here the climate is cool and fresh, surrounded by mountains. You will not only learn from us, but from the people of the town who are very open to new people and to share their Panamanian culture but in the highlands version.

We strive for ecological practices and have preserved a 400hectare of pure cloudforest as part of our mission. We are a small group of staff that will treat you like family as well. We believe verybody is treated with respect and is important to our team.
