    I keep very busy, I sing in a choir and am a member of the International Ladies Group, plus looking after the Caldas da Rainha branch of the Greater Lisbon Chaplaincy (Anglican), we have a church service in English once a month. I have a good circle of supportive friends. We retired to Portugal 11 years ago from England. I used to arrange student educational visits staying with host families in the UK.

    My home is 15 minutes drive from Caldas da Rainha, 5 minutes drive to the nearest beaches of Salir do Porto and Sao Martinho do Porto. Obidos and Alcobaca are not far away. Depending on the time of year there are shows and concerts to attend locally. From Caldas da Rainha there is a good bus service to Lisbon (takes 1 hour approx.)
