  Description

  My name is Hong Thuy but you can me Linda. I'm currently living on Cat Ba Island, in the beautiful village called "Xuan Dam". I live with parents and my son. The boy is 3,5 years old. He is smart, fun and a quite stubborn. At the moment, he is in a period when he is able to pick up languages. I need volunteers to help me with babysitting my soon task and taking care of the garden of our family
  
  The boy will be staying in a kinder garden from morning to afternoon. Volunteers are supposed to take care of the boy when he comes back from school.

  Living with our family is a great chance to deeply immerse in the authenticity of Vietnamese culture. Volunteers will be treated like a family member so you can feel like a home away from home.
  
  Volunteers will have a chance to learn Vietnamese culture and learn how to cook Vietnamese food.
  
  Volunteers will have a scooter to get around the island. Cat Ba Island is one of the most beautiful islands in Vietnam. For sure, you will have fun here.
  
  Furthermore, having a boat trip is a privilege. You can ask me when you'd like to get a boat trip and I will schedule it for you.

  Help

  Specifically, I need volunteers to help with
  
  - Babysitting my son, Volunteers are supposed to play with the boy, show him around and read a book in English for him. This is not a class, just talk and play with him casually. I don't need teaching certificate, teaching experience and as such, just someone who speaks English fluently. English native speakers are highly appreciated.
  
  - Read a book in English to him.
  
  - Talk to him in English.
  
  One thing I need the most is that the babysitter doesn't let my son to watch videos or play with a phone. I want my son to stay away from it. Playing toys and taking him around the village is ideal.
  
  In return, volunteers will be provided
  
  - Scooter rental to get around the island in a free time.
  
  - Private room to stay whilst you are here.
  
  - Breakfast, lunch, dinner provided. If you are vegan or vegetarian, you can use our kitchen to cook.
  
  - A use of swimming pool at our house.
  
  - A full day boat trip to visit Lan Ha Bay. I also have another tourist boat company so I can make sure that the volunteer can join our activities too.
