    Description

I'm currently looking for a catsitter from 25th June to 12th July. You can stay the entire time in my flat for free, just have to agree to taker good care of my cat. Feeding him 3-4 times a day, changing his water, cleaning the cat toilet, and not leaving him alone for 10 or more hours. I have a whole lovely SE facing flat and balcony just a 3 minute walk away from Volkspark Friedrichshain. But the best thing about my flat by far is Salem! My super friendly tuxedo cat. There is a long list of people he has charmed his way into their hearts as he really is the sweetest boy. I would love it if you could come stay at my place to take care of him when I'm on holiday. Experienced cat people preferred, although, as I said, Salem is a cat converter! I have a gorgeous sunny balcony, a back yard, and it's only across the road from a massive park, full of amazing summery vibes.

Feeding my cat 2-3 times a day and spending time with him and playing with him. I would prefer if you don't leave him alone for extended hours. Also please water my plants on the balcony every day, and the indoor plants every few days.

If you are coming to Berlin to party for days at a time, this wouldn't be a good fit. The ideal situation would be someone who is remote working or just wants to get away to Berlin for a couple weeks! There's sooo much to do here in summer! Open airs, parks, lakes, too many cultural events to name here. I also have a vegetarian household so would prefer if you don’t bring meat into the house! (Salem gets a pass ofc 😂)

I have stable wifi, I would also say it's fast (for Berlin anyway!). There is just a normal table and chairs to work at. There's a lovely balcony which can be nice to also work at or take calls from in the summer :)

    Profile photo of Salem

    Salem (6 years)

Super cuddly, social but lazy cat. He loves duvet days together cuddling but he will be very grateful if you play with him a few times a day!! You need to convince him a little at first, but once he gets into it, he will be zooming around and sometimes does backflips! You need to give him a bit of love and he will be very happy to return that love right back, he will give no shortage of cuddles, but beware: he may roll on his back and show you his tummy but don't fall for it! He is a bit sensitive in this area and will scratch. As he's a big boy, he can give quite a scratch. He also loves playing with water, so he will knock over your glass if you leave it unattended - especially if he's been left alone for too long. Usually I drink out of a large caraf or a water bottle to prevent any accidents. He's not too big of an eater, but he loves cat grass. In general he's a super friendly boy and really wants to please you - no ego cat!! In summary, Salen just wants cuddles and someone to nap with him, a little bit of playing and food twice a day! And yes - he is named after Salem in Sabrina the Teenage Witch!
