    Description

We have just recently moved to our lovely new block of land.
We currently have 4 lovely Dexter cows, and 2 Jersey cows waiting to calf, 11 calves that we have been feeding, 6 sheep and 5 lambs, a number of chickens, quail and ducks, and rabbits. Harry the Cat and Ty the farm dog.
We are always pretty busy, and the next project we have is clearing some trees to make space for trees for shelter and bee and bird food.
Why not come and join us, and put your essence into this wonderful piece of New Zealand

    Help

I am looking for help with the daily running of my 10 acre lifestyle farm.
Things change daily, but an idea of some of the things we will do together would be:
Move the break feed for the cows
Help feed calves if the season is right
    Maybe help hand milk Pennyroyal
Planting bee and bird shelter Trees
Weeding, watering, planting, harvesting the vegetable garden or orchard
Helping to cut and store firewood
    Compost making
    Housework.
I ask you to help out for around 5 hours each day, and in return offer you a warm family home with lots of conversation.
Pick up and drop off at the bus
Good food, and a lovely room with a view, and the pool to swim in

Please be aware that working on a farm and in the outdoors can sometimes be hard work. If you don't think you could dig a hole, please do not contact me.
we proudly eat our home grown meat, so do not take vegetarians.

We like to live as kindly to the Planet as possible, and ask that you do as well. We only use Earth friendly products.

We live very lose to a wonderful mountain bike park, running tracks in the forest, an adventure tree park, great walks to waterfalls, and awesome fishing, surfing and swimming beaches.

We are in the country so the bus only goes through the main town. Whangarei and Kamo. We will pick you up and drop you back to the bus.
