We know very little about gardening and would love to have you come spend time helping and teaching us various methods of gardening. We will also be raising meat chickens as well rabbits, any knowledge you can provide will help us in becoming more self sufficient. help in getting the gardens in and depending on the time of year you’d like to visit we also harvest about 40 cords of wood a year either on the water floating them to camp or on the ice using snow machines and a Kioty on tracks. In exchange we will host you completely, we live on the beautiful lake Minisinakwa, you must also be an outdoor enthusiast, we have kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, paddle board, fishing rods, ATVs and so much more in exchange for some.
Beautiful sun rise and sun sets no matter the time of year when you live on small private an island.
For those winter enthusiasts there’s not a lot to do except feed the wood stove as it’s the only source of heat, we do have indoor facilities and running water. We’d love to get away to a warmer climate for a month or so in Jan/Feb depending on the opportunity. If you’d like to hang out with our pets enjoying the cabin do some ice fishing at your door and snowmobiling at your leisure let us know
