Description
We run a small and friendly non-profit horse farm located in the beautiful Chianti hills of Tuscany, surrounded by some of the most famous Italian cities such as Florence, Siena and Arezzo. Our place is very family-oriented and our 17 horses live in large paddocks; we do not compete, as our focus is on education, well-being and countryside riding.
We are a young team and we work with a mix of local students and international guests.
From November to May we teach weekly riding lessons to children and adults. From April to October we also offer programs for tourists, as well as summer camps for children aged 10–17. We do basic dressage, basic jumping, and beautiful trail rides in our stunning landscape.
We also share the farm with two very affectionate cats and a friendly dog who love having people around.

Riding opportunities:
Volunteers have free access to riding our horses, always according to their level of experience and under staff supervision.
During the riding season, when possible, volunteers may also join trail rides or participate in some of the activities offered to guests, free of charge and only if they wish to.

Help
We are looking for volunteers who:
• have good experience with horses and a good level of English.
• enjoy farm life and being around animals and people
• are reliable, hard-working and able to work both in a team and independently
• have a genuine passion for this kind of lifestyle
About the help:
The tasks change according to the time of the year and days, but generally include:
• morning,lunch and evening feeding
• taking care of the stables (cleaning boxes when needed, sweeping, general maintenance)
• grooming and basic horse care
• helping instructors and riders prepare the horses during lessons (when needed)
Help is not usually 5 continuous hours: it is divided throughout the day. Our goal is to create a positive exchange: you help us with the daily routine, and we make sure you enjoy your time in Tuscany.

Accommodation
Accommodation, food & transport:
We provide accommodation in a small Tuscan-style house on the property, with two bedrooms, a shared bathroom, and a kitchen with a living area.
For food, we give volunteers a weekly budget so they can do their own grocery shopping and cook what they prefer.
Volunteers also have access to a car for daily needs and shopping.
This position does not include financial compensation, but offers a peaceful environment, a welcoming team, and the opportunity to live, learn and ride in one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany.
