    Description

    welcome to my off grid homestead for a farm stay. This is a rural community west of Prince George. In the beautiful lakes district of British Columbia.
    Immerse yourself in horses; train, ride , and join in a healing journey with the herd
    There are foals, weanlings and yearlings to halter & lead, 2 & 3 year olds to start-under saddle. Experience is required to train and a longer stay of at least 30days.
    Land based living requires many skills and projects to meet the needs of every season.
    Organic gardening, harvesting and food preservation.
    Wildcrafting, ethnobotany,
    fencing and repairs
    Cabin Building and finishing
    Maintaining and creating enclosures for farm animals.
    Firewood cutting
    Purposing, recycling and utilizing available materials.
    Bring your ideas, your creativity and enthusiasm to share in a cultural exchange of language, customs, foods, and daily living.

    Extensive experience in horse handling required. Excellent riding/training skill is required if your focus is horses.
    Gardening, harvesting, food preservation, and homesteading , fence repair, building, maintenance, small animal and horse care. Wild crafting, gathering, food preservation, assistance marketing and computer skills.
