Description
Hello!. We are a family of 5 Pato (50), me (37), Nicolás (4), Julieta (3 is a little angel in heaven), Fiorella (2) and 10 puppies. We are animal lovers!!! We bought a farm in Chilean Patagonia (Chaitén) 6 years ago and we came to live with our family almost 4 years ago. This to develop an Eco Park with trekking trails, bike park, cabins and at some point a boutique hotel. This is not only due to the lack of hotels, cabins and others. Several summers people have nowhere to sleep because the hotel industry is not enough. The option is to sleep in their cars or, in the case of people who camp, to sleep under roofs. This beautiful project is also for the community, Chaitén has many wonderful attractions, but they are far away for the people here who do not have mobilization and our idea is to be able to contribute to the community and have a place for family recreation. This ecological park is located 5 minutes from the center of Chaitén.
We need friends with skills in construction, painting, architecture, landscaping, greenhouses (harvesting, cleaning and planting), farm work, lawn mowing (harvesting grass seed for planting), carpentry, firewood, moving wood with tractors, sawing wood, electricity. and a nanny who can play, teach all kinds of things, other languages. housework (cleaning, repair and others). We accept digital nomads to make web pages with journalistic writing, financial tables, financial projection programs, flow of expenses, among others.
We have 2 greenhouses that are organic, irrigated with spring water. We want to have everything with solar panels and natural batteries (ponds to collect water and energy per litre/watt of electricity generation). The big idea is that everything is absolutely self-sufficient. The work we do is pro-environmental, with regulatory plans, CONAF and absolutely everything with dead wood taken from the river, which was left by the eruption of the volcano in 2008. After the social outbreak and the pandemic, we were devastated and we have help for many projects through different government institutions. This has served us too well to continue slowly and not give up.
My job is quite a bit as I run several online businesses, I also work for a conservation, community and environmental foundation. Then a friend is needed to be a babysitter and take care of the house.
It is a beautiful project, with a lot of work ahead.
We would like to have your help!!! Tell us what area you are interested in???
***For our family it is essential that our volunteer friends have the COVID vaccines and the mobility pass. This is because my daughter and I are at high risk for a number of reasons. We are also aware of the rest of the population in Patagonia, where there are almost no infections. Unfortunately, the cases of COVID that have occurred are from outsiders without vaccines.***Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
The benefit of the friends who come is to know the culture, the traditions, work in the different areas mentioned, share experiences in how to do the different jobs, so we also learn from them. Generate bonds of friendship, get to know Chilean Patagonia in your free time, which is really beautiful and often not very accessible due to the high cost. Here you will be in a family environment, within a large field, with a lagoon and a river, you will be able to walk for many hours and be impressed with the landscape in the same place where you will live.

The accommodation is located within our field in a safe enclosure, with evacuation routes, fire safety system. It has 1 room on the second floor (for men and women), the room has 6 single beds. On the first floor there is a common bathroom and an equipped kitchen, which has cable TV. They are given weekly food to organize and cook, this includes breakfast and lunch (meals include meat). Does not include towels, sleeping bag and personal items.
