Come meet the fastest pony in the World!
We welcome you to our old watermill house in the countryside close to Aarhus.
My name is Rie (46) and I live here together with my mom Lena (72) who has her own part of the house and sometimes my son Albert who has a place in Aarhus where he also goes to the university and my daughter Selma (16) who is working at a horseracing stable in Newmarket, England. We all speak English well.
Our 2 small dogs are also living inside the house. Outside we have 3 icelandic horses, 1 gotlands russ, 5 shetlandponies (one is a foal) and a trotting horse. We also have goats and chicken.
We are all busy and has lots to do during the day. I go to school, make leadership courses and give riding lessons for kids in our small indoor ridingarena. We take our ponies to places such as Tivoli in Aarhus and give small tours for kids. We train our horses every day on tours and once a week we go to the Race Track in Aarhus with horses to train fast trotting. Una fra Skovbogaard one of our Icelandics is the fastes pony in Denmark and a World record holder. We sometimes go compeeting in ponytrotting with her around Denmark. Alli is our trotting horse and we keep her fit to be ready for races when Selma comes home. You are welcome to join us going to the racetrack and race events.
3 of our shetland ponies are good drivingponies and I would love to teach you how to drive a pony.
In the stable we have our team of 2 girls helping out 3 days a week.
