    Description

We’re Paul & Henrike, and our dog Nicky. Nicky is a sweet little rescue dog from Romania who, due to his difficult past, can be a bit shy and unfortunately can’t join us on our travels. Thats why we’re looking for a caring and responsible Workawayer to help with pet sitting while we’re away. We live in a spacious house with a fenced garden, located in the heart of the beautiful Mecklenburg Lake District. It’s the perfect place to enjoy some peace and quiet and take a break from the busy city life, surrounded by nature and fresh air.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We love welcoming guests from all over the world. When you stay with us, you’re not just a guest – you’re a friend. You’re welcome to enjoy our garden, use our bicycles, and of course make yourself at home in our entire house and on the property. We’re always happy to share our favorite tips about the region and recommend wonderful places to explore during your stay.

    Help

Nicky is an easy-going dog who spends most of the day sleeping, so your main tasks will be to stay overnight at our home, take him for daily walks, feed him in the morning and evening, and make sure he’s happy and well.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

You’re welcome to use our entire house and property – make yourself completely at home. Our house features one bedroom, two bathrooms, a spacious living room, a modern kitchen, two fully equipped workstations for remote work, and a large garden with a hammock and terrace. If you prefer, you’re also welcome to camp or pitch a tent in the garden. During your stay, you’ll need to arrange your own meals, as we won’t be at home.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

We would prefer if you could spend most of the day at our home and garden so that our Nicky isn’t left alone for too long. However, you’re welcome to leave him by himself for 2–4 hours each day. Please note that there is very little public transportation in our area, so having your own car or bike would be helpful. One important thing: if you smoke, please do so only outside on the terrace – never inside the house.

    Nicky

Nicky is a rescue dog from Romania. Due to his past, he can be a bit shy and insecure at first, but once he warms up to you, you’ve hit the jackpot! Most of the day, he loves to sleep, but when he’s outside, he’s full of energy and ready for adventure. His favorite hobbies include chasing mice, snacking on treats, relaxing in his doghouse, and enjoying long walks.
