Greetings
My name is Joel, I'm a warm hearted person with a lot of geeky interests. I love video games, anime, D&D, and going to Ren Faire. I'm quite fond of board games, especially chess. I love watching sci-fi series, especially Stargate SG1, and I also watch a lot of Monty Python. I'm a voracious reader, and have my own mini library in my home which my guests are more than welcome to peruse. I am not much of a traveller, but do enjoy meeting people from all over the world and learning about different cultures. Hosting people is the way I plan to travel.
Right now, I need people to help me with my yearly spring cleaning and gardening. During the winter months, I would appreciate help shoveling snow. I have some lower back issues that prevent me from doing certain things, so I really need assistance for these tasks. I also need help with cooking, light cleaning, and petting the cat. You'd still have a lot of time to explore the island. I would be more than happy to give you a tour. There are some great restaurants nearby. Although this is a quiet part of Newfoundland, it is still a very cozy mountainous region with plenty of great views.

I have a great sense of humour, and make an excellent tour guide. I have a mini library in my house, after living here for more than a decade, I know everything there is to know. Also, if you can speak Japanese, please do not hesitate in reaching out, even if it's just for a language exchange.

Help with my cats, cooking, and gardening. Perhaps some light cleaning.... I ask for no less than four hours five days a week, but I also will never have you go over this.
