Description
I live off-grid and off the road, in a little valley, shared with 4 families, each in their own house. I built my own house in a beautiful place in the north Italian Alps, near a splendid swimming spot in the river chiusella. I have, a dog and three cats.
I am a Carpenter, working towards self sufficiency, in a most natural way.
I have travelled many years myself before deciding to build my base in this beautiful valley, therefore I can relate to desires and needs of other travelers, and i am happy to facilitate anyone in exploring their path.Types of help and learning opportunities

I speak Italian ,English and Dutch, also some some German, French and Portuguese. You can learn about permaculture, traditional woodworking, different cultures and probably different approaches to life..
Staying at my place you will have many opportunities to explore the surrounding valchiusella, where many people have chosen to live in a more humble, natural and or traditional way.Help
During your stay, you can experience offgrid life, from collecting and chopping firewood, working in a veggie garden, cooking meals, to collecting herbs and process for conservation. I may be able to teach some of my building crafts..

My house is pretty small, but i can host in my neighbors house.( Which they only use for holidays, so free for hosting guests most of the year) there is also plenty of space to put a tent.
Warning: we use compost toilets, and water for showers is to be heated with wood fire.
Some times drinking water is not abundant.
In summer time the river offers great refreshment. What else ...
I live very near beautiful swimming spots, mountain trails, fifteen minutes walk to the next village/bus stop.
