Description
this June
We are looking for an animal lover (single or couple) to house-sit for us and look after our cat and dog this June and July.
Our house is located in Frankleigh Park, New Plymouth and is close to a bus route and the Huatoki Walkway. It's an old state house we've renovated and now has all mod cons. There is quite a big garden.
There are plenty of nearby tramping opportunities and the Taranaki coast is a favourite with surfers.
We have a mini schnauzer and a Tonkinese cat that need to be cared for while we're away from 14 June to 10 July. Ideally, it would be nice to have someone arrive a few days before we leave so they can get to know the pets and their routines.
We have a spare bedroom as well as more private accommodation in a cabin connected with the house via a sunroom, which has a fridge, kettle, sink, microwave and double bed. Our volunteer will have exclusive use of the downstairs bathroom and access to it all the time. Once we go on our trip we expect that our volunteer/s will prefer to move into the house.
Non-smoker preferred.
New Plymouth is a cool spot to relax for a few weeks so come on over, settle in and make some furry friends!
