    Description

    🌊
Welcome to the 10-passenger ground-effect seaplane project, promoted by Luemba, as part of our mission to redefine sustainable aviation in Costa Rica.

    🚀 What is this project?
Imagine a seaplane that skims the water, capable of carrying 10 people, powered by electric motors and an ultralight generator that can run on hydrogen. We are making that vision a reality:

Four electric motors, each with 700 hp.

Ultralight generator adaptable for multiple fuels (including hydrogen).

Designed for energy efficiency, lower emissions, and use on coastal and remote routes.

Planned phases: prototype, testing, certification, and commercial launch expected in 5 years.

This project is not only a technical challenge, but an opportunity for real impact for Costa Rica and the planet.

🛠️ What kind of volunteers are we looking for?
We're looking for people with passion, curiosity, and determination to work on projects that matter. You don't need to be an expert in everything, but we do value technical skills, a willingness to collaborate, and commitment. Some areas where you could contribute:

    Carpentry, composite materials, lightweight structures

    Mechanical design, CAD/modeling, aeronautical engineering

    Energy research (hydrogen, hybrid systems)

    Project management, documentation, communication

    Logistical support and team coordination

🎯 What do you gain by helping?
Hands-on learning in a disruptive innovation project

Work alongside experts from multiple disciplines

Live a unique experience in Costa Rica, in close contact with nature

Contribute to a legacy: be part of a team that promotes sustainable aviation

Basic accommodation, food with local products, and a collaborative community

Certificate of participation or recognition for your portfolio

    📍 Location and logistics
We are located in Curridabat, in an accessible setting close to nature.
Volunteering is ideally for a minimum of 2–4 weeks, although we are flexible if you can stay longer.

Shared accommodation, basic facilities, and rules of coexistence (cleanliness, teamwork, respect for the environment) will be part of your daily routine.

    ✅ Requirements
Proactive attitude, responsibility, and a desire to learn

    Commitment during the stay

Genuine interest in innovation, sustainability, and aeronautics

(Optional but valued) Knowledge or experience in one of the technical areas mentioned

    📩 How to apply
Send us a short motivation letter (1–2 paragraphs) where you tell us:
    • Why are you interested in this project?
    • What skills or experiences do you bring?
    • When could you come and for how long?

Attach your CV or portfolio if you have one.

We will have a Zoom chat to get to know each other and explain more about the project phase.

If you are accepted, we will send you advance instructions regarding travel, accommodation, and what you will need to bring.

🌱 Your collaboration can make a difference
This seaplane is not just a model or prototype: it is a real proposal for sustainable transportation. With your help, we can move towards a future where flying is not synonymous with pollution.

Do you want to be part of the change? Write to us and let's build something together that inspires the world.

    🌊
