    LIVE, DON’T EXIST!

Step into the Forgotten Frontiers of the Eastern Himalayas

    Greetings, wanderer.

I am Katon, an Aborman, a guardian of a land veiled in mist and legend. My home is the Siang Valley, a place where the echoes of ancient warriors still whisper through the gorges, where the jungle guards its secrets fiercely, and where the rivers carve their stories into the earth. I belong to the Pasi clan of the Moyong sub-tribe, and for 37 generations, my people have walked these lands—protecting them, living in harmony with them, and resisting those who sought to claim them.

    Why Seek This Journey?

Not all who travel are ready for a place like this. The Siang Valley does not reveal itself easily—it must be earned. Those who dare to venture here will find themselves immersed in a world that few have witnessed, where tradition is law and nature reigns supreme.

    My knowledge extends across:
✔ The Enigmatic Siang Valley & Siang Gorge – A land untouched, where shadows move with purpose
✔ The Abor Warriors’ Legacy – Stories of battle, honour, and spirits that still walk among us
✔ The Anglo-Abor Conflict – How my ancestors, armed with bows and swords, defied an empire
✔ Inter-Tribal Mysteries – The hidden alliances, rivalries, and unspoken codes of the highlands
✔ Jungle Survival & Forgotten Paths – Learn to navigate the wild as my people have for millennia
✔ The Fight for Indigenous Rights – The silent war against forces that seek to erase our past and FUTURE

Your Stay: A Journey Beyond Time

To stay here is to step into another world—one where time does not move as it does elsewhere. You will:
✅ Live among an ancient people – Share in our daily lives, listen to stories passed down for centuries
✅ Master the ways of the wild – Fire-making, tracking, reading the land—skills older than memory itself
✅ Witness rituals hidden from the outside world – If fate allows, you may glimpse the grandeur of our hunting festival
✅ Walk paths few outsiders have ever seen – Through dense forests, across roaring rivers, into the heart of the unknown
✅ Speak of things long forgotten – Tales of spirits, lost warriors, and the forces that still shape this land

A Land That Guards Its Secrets

📍 Entry is Not So Easily Granted: Since 1873, access to our homeland has required a special permit, a rule first imposed by the British to keep the unknown at bay. That law still stands, and I will guide you through the process—if you are meant to come.

🌍 A Place Unlike Any Other: Imagine a realm where the Amazon rainforest meets the Andes mountains, where mist swirls through untouched valleys, where spirits are said to roam, watching those who enter. This is the Siang Valley—home to 26 major tribes, each guarding their own mysteries.

🌦️ A Land of Unforgiving Beauty: The monsoons roar, the winters whisper, and the jungle hums with life unseen. Sitting between tropical jungles and the icy Tibetan plateau, this land shifts and changes, revealing only what it chooses to.

My Purpose: To Protect the Unwritten Story

I am here to safeguard what remains of a fading world. The modern age presses in, but some things are not meant to be claimed. My people stand at the threshold of past and future, determined to ensure that neither is lost.

“It is often in the frontiers that you will find the world.”

This journey is not for everyone. But if you hear the call—if you seek something beyond maps and roads—then perhaps you were meant to find this place.

Reach out, and if the time is right, I will guide you into the unknown.

Until then, travel safe. The Eastern Himalayas await.

    Katon
