Beschreibung

Hi there :) My name is Noor (short for Eleonora). I’m a 27 year old from the Netherlands. While living in different places, I always made sure to stick a world map to my wall. Looking at it gave me sense of freedom; there is so much to explore! After graduating I decided to embark on my first solo travel. Flying out to Australia was a huge step outside of my comfort zone, but I’m already so glad I did.

I would describe myself as a thoughtful and down to earth soul, with a great love for the outdoors. Whether it be going for hikes, enjoying an early sunrise, looking out on the ocean for hours, or simply reading a book in the garden. The outdoors is where I feel at peace. I’m always interested in learning more about local flora & fauna, landscapes, and conservation practices. Another great passion of mine is sports – any opportunity to play or watch sports count me in. And yes, I do fit the stereotype of a Dutchie who loves to cycle haha :)

Baking, cooking with people, making puzzles, playing with kids, browsing thrift shops, and listening to travel stories are some of my favorite pastimes. Back home, some of my friends and I started our own little ‘Cooks and Crafts Collective’, dedicated to cooking together and crafting our little hearts out. While I’m not a great artist, I really enjoy those nights. It has been a proper eyeopener for me; you don’t have to be good at something for you to enjoy it. There is joy in trying new things!

After spending some time in Brisbane I’m ready to spread my wings and discover more of Australia. I would love to explore new places, connect with likeminded people, learn new skills, and deepen my knowledge of the local culture. Making memories along the way, that's what life is about after all.

I'm very keen to learn new skills! Whether it's doing renovating work, planting crops, or contributing to forest regeneration, I'm excited to give everything a go. I'm committed to making a positive impact while expanding my knowledge and skills along the way.
