Beschreibung
I always feel that the only way to truly discover other places and people is to live there and work with them side by side. With that in mind, every now and then, I want to break out from my regular life and give something back to the community. Although it may sound very altruistic, I am doing it for purely selfish reasons. It allows me to decouple from the problems I am facing at home and introduces me to new ways of thinking which I hope to use in my future work and life.
As you can see, sometimes, I can be very abstract. But more often so I am a heavily-smiling and very active person, with loads of useful and not-so-useful ideas in my head, always ready to go on to another adventure.
I am originally from Germany (Berlin), but have spent the last five years in Israel, working on my PhD in Physics. While I love Berlin very much, it doesn't offer the possibilities of a country life, gardening, growing vegetables or tending to animals.

I stayed at Lauren's place for three weeks and duly enjoyed the experience. I loved working in the veggie garden. Unfortunately, it was super hot and there wasn't much to do in the afternoons, apart from visiting Bitter Springs. But I'm very grateful to Lauren, that she helped me to find a job in the local BP.
