Hi there!
My name is Alice, but everyone calls me Allie. I’m Franco-Australienne – born and raised in Australia, and for the past three months I’ve been living in France.

Traveling through Europe has always been a dream of mine, and after completing my double bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Business, I finally decided to make it happen. Workaway gives me the chance to not only see new places, but to really immerse myself in the countries and cultures I visit.

I’ll be working in France until the 25th of September, and after that I’m excited to find my next adventure!

My background is quite varied – I’ve worked in hospitality, disability & aged care support, office management, and most recently in food preparation at a factory here in France. I adore animals (I have a 12-year-old staffy back home in Australia who I miss dearly 🐾) and I’m always happy to lend a hand wherever it’s needed.

I’m open-minded, adaptable, and not afraid of hard work. Most importantly, I bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude to every experience.

You won’t regret having me as your Workawayer, and I’d love the chance to contribute, learn, and share stories along the way.

Was noch ...

I’m passionate about animals and love spending time outdoors – whether it’s long walks on the beach, horse riding, or training for triathlons. I also enjoy cooking and baking, especially when I get to share it with others. Martial arts has been another big interest of mine, keeping me active and disciplined.

When it comes to games, I can get very competitive – especially with Monopoly, Uno, or poker! 🎲♠️

Music is a big part of my life, and my taste really depends on the mood – anything from classical to techno, and I’m always open to discovering new sounds. 🎶
