Hey everybody!
Louise and I are two friends on a Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand.
At the end of September Théo will go to Nelson and explore the North of the South Island and Louise is flying to French polynesia to spend a month or more there.

So, about ourselves: we are dynamic and hard workers, always happy to discover new cultures, food, and great hiking spots.
Louise is vegetarian and I’m not, but apart from that, we’re not picky eaters at all.
We are looking for accommodation with food if possible for 2 weeks more or less.

To conclude, if you’re happy to welcome us, we’ll be more than happy to be there! 😊

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Concerning Théo: I studied in environmental management and I'm passionate about nature, I’m used to working outdoors and taking part in a wide range of practical tasks, nontheless I also can cook very well and don't mind indoor task at all. I enjoy gardening, planting, and maintaining natural spaces. Serious and independent, I can also adapt easily, follow instructions, and work well as part of a team.
I speak French (my native language) and English fluently, and I’m always happy to chat, help out, or share my knowledge — including helping with learning French if needed. Curious, motivated, and enthusiastic, I mainly come with good energy, a real desire to learn new things, and to fully get involved in the life of the place.

Concerning Louise: Like Théo I like to work outside planting and gardening. I have experience with animals( I have worked at a sheep farm & spent 6 month in a wildlife care center). I’m curious and love to learn news things and exchange knowledge. French is my native language and I speak English quite well.
I’m truly exited about meeting new people and help for the daily tasks, indoors and outdoors.

We stayed at Carrol's place for one week, and it was undoubtedly our best Workaway experience. Carol is such a kind and funny person, and we spent a lot of time chatting with her. Theo and Louise stayed with us and worked hard throughout their time here. They tackled some tough gardening tasks, helped tidy up branches, did general cleaning including windows, organised areas, stacked firewood, and various other tasks. They kept a lovely fire going most evenings.

We stayed at Hellen and Art's farm for about ten days. Safe to say, the house was always buzzing with life! We spent our stay with 3 other Workawayers, which gave us even more great memories. (Fierce competitions of various card games, including Skyjo, took place, and rematches will definitely be needed!!!)

We stayed at John's place for 5 days, and it was a wonderful experience. A warm, relaxing atmosphere fills the house, mirroring the quiet strength of its host. John is truly a wholehearted man who loves sharing his wide range of knowledge in DIY and other hands-on activities.
