I'm going to South Africa next for a couple of months.

No plans, yet. But a lot of energy for adventures.

Beschreibung

Hey, I am Jona from Germany and am 20 years old.

After I graduated from highschool, I took a gap year and travelled a lot. I've been to Italy, Greece and Albania first and I stayed the winter with my family in Germany.

Then I went to France, Andorra, Spain and Portugal. After a short break at home i went back to Spain and worked at a hotel doing childcare and animation for 3 months.
That year was a lot of fun but i wanted to do something for a bit longer time, so I was looking for a voluntary year. I didn't wanted to be too far away from family and friends so I decided to stay in Germany.
I found the perfect job at a cultural/ social institution in northern Germany. I am working with children and teens but am also organizing events for adults. I have a huge variety of different tasks and it is a lot of fun and i enjoy the work.

After that I am more than ready for traveling and adventure again. Aaaand ... I am going to South Africa.

After my first experiences traveling I feel the urge to take more time and courage and live the adventures. I am looking forward to all the new experiences and people.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I just made my first experience working at a hotel on Santorini. I worked at the reception and bar and definitely learned how to deal with guests and be helpful and nice with them and help them with problems and their questions.
I also worked at a small shop in Germany where I interacted with customers and learned a lot about serving and customer advice.
I am also a lifeguard and am teaching children to swim. And I have three younger brothers so I am good with kids and like to entertain them.
