Beschreibung

My name is Flynn! I grew up in The Lake District, England, and have always loved being outside. I have a passion for sports such as mountain biking, skydiving, and rock climbing, whilst also really enjoying activities like carpentry and learning languages. Recently I have been applying to university in England whilst working as a gardener, and at the same time I’m lucky to be planning a mountaineering exhibition to Nepal where I will be hiking for a month and potentially summiting an unclimbed peak. Despite growing up in a beautiful region, through travelling I want to get into different environments, meet new people and see different parts of the world!

Previously I have worked as a gardener, worked front of house in a pub, have completed an internship of 2 months as a carpenter, and have volunteered in Mongolia and at a French Primary school. With the ability to learn fast, I will work my hardest to complete the tasks at hand and enjoy it in the process (with a smile)!

Gardening:
I have worked as a gardener (in London and Yorkshire) for the past year and love spending long days outside with colleagues and working hard until I’m tired at the end of the day.

Woodworking:
8 years of experience woodworking for personal enjoyment and a 2 month internship with Mark Richey Woodworking in Massachusetts, USA.

Mongolia Volunteering:
Very hard month in Mongolia working long hours where I was stacking hay, herding cows and doing jobs on the ranch in Orkhon, Mongolia.

Oakfield Primary (French) Language Volunteer
French teacher volunteering over the course of 3 months. Learning to communicate with other people, and help them acquire French language skills in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
