Hello we are a non profit association working in Mallorca. We deal with abused dogs and trying to get them adopted. At the moment we have around 25 dogs, but we also have a dog hotel, so sometimes there is moore dogs here aswell.

Hola! Somos una asociación sin ánimo de lucro que trabaja en Mallorca. Nos dedicamos a rescatar perros maltratados y buscarles familias adoptivas.
Actualmente tenemos alrededor de 25 perros bajo nuestro cuidado, pero también contamos con un hotel para perros, así que a veces tenemos aún más canes aquí.

Arbeit
A typical day here would be: Opening for the dogs and place them in different areas so they can run around, clean the dogs area, clean the house, give lunch to the dogs and take them back to their areas. The rest of the time will involve different projects, like painting, building, fixing things in general.
In the beginning we will work together, but the goal is for you to be able to work with the dogs alone, either in the morning or the evening.
The most important skills that we are looking for in a volunteer is: knowledge about dogs and that you feel comfortable around them, that you are handy and can help with different projects, that you can work together and listen to instructions, but also be able to work alone and take responsibility for the work that you do.
We are very relaxed and flexible with most things, but we do want everybody here to try their best and help develop this wonderful organisation.
*The house is in the countryside, we offer a bicycle, but it is 30 minutes on the bike to the closest town where you can find buses.
Sometimes we can give you a ride, but not every day. The best thing for all of us is if you have your own vehicle.

Un día típico aquí sería: Abrir para los perros y colocarlos en diferentes áreas para que puedan correr, limpiar la zona de los perros, limpiar la casa, darles el almuerzo y llevarlos de vuelta a sus áreas. El resto del tiempo implicará diferentes proyectos, como pintar, construir, arreglar cosas en general.
Al principio trabajaremos juntos, pero el objetivo es que puedas trabajar con los perros solo, ya sea por la mañana o por la tarde.
Las habilidades más importantes que buscamos en un voluntario son: conocimiento sobre perros y que te sientas cómodo con ellos, que seas hábil y puedas ayudar con diferentes proyectos, que puedas trabajar en equipo y escuchar instrucciones, pero también ser capaz de trabajar solo y asumir la responsabilidad de tu trabajo.
Somos muy relajados y flexibles con la mayoría de las cosas, pero sí queremos que todos aquí den lo mejor de sí mismos para ayudar a desarrollar esta maravillosa organización.
*La casa está en el campo, ofrecemos una bicicleta, pero en bicicleta se tardan 30 minutos en llegar al pueblo más cercano donde se pueden coger autobuses.
A veces podemos llevarte, pero no todos los días. Lo mejor para todos es que tengas tu propio vehículo.
