Beschreibung

Hey everyone,

I love to travel and have recently come back from 16 months travelling in South America where I had an amazing time. I am now back in the UK but want to continue my travels - I have just completed a 600 mile trail thru-hike around the south west coast of England and am now looking to do some Workaway in Norway (as it's a country I've wanted to visit for a long time) from the end of August to the end of September. I am keen to:

- Learn new skills, in particular: carpentry, teaching, farming, and anything relating to my background in sustainability (but open to anything new!)
- Have a Norwegian cultural experience
- Meet new and likeminded people

I am a very active person and love to be outdoors and in nature. I enjoy most sports but particularly enjoy hiking, mountain climbing and I am a big football fan. I would consider myself a spiritual person and enjoy a daily meditation practice and have recently taken up yoga.

I enjoy making new friends and would like to get to know people from different countries and cultures. I would like to meet like-minded people - people who are open minded and want to learn and grow whilst they travel.

Travelling aside I love to read, cook and listen to music!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm a very hardworking individual and am just as happy doing physical labour as intellectual work. I am good with my hands and enjoy problem solving. I am very keen to develop new skills whatever they may be, but with a particular interest in eco-construction and carpentry.

I am very fit and active, I run and workout regularly and would be very happy doing physical jobs.

Prior to travelling I was working in sustainability as a management consultant and so I have sustainability expertise and knowledge that I would like to apply to an eco-related project. Before my working career I was at university studying for my Masters Degree in Civil Engineering.

Previous workaway-type experience while travelling includes:
- Professional cleaner
- Gardener
- Farming on various fruit and vegetable farms
- Permaculture projects
- DIY and maintenance in a ecological resort and in homes
