  We are Analaura and Lucía, living in an inspiring space that promotes bamboo as a tool for planetary healing to awaken to the conscious nature that we are. Our project is a school for eco-social regeneration through experimentation, creativity, conscious transformation and sustainable bamboo production, promoting opportunities for all.
  
  We work to rescue the ancestral memory of the "tacuara", known globally as bamboo. We spread its benefits, its possibilities of use and transformation, and also in unveiling its deepest secrets, that are a gift for all. With different profiles, we create local bamboo solutions that are bridges and promote health in relationships: with nature, with others and with oneself.
  
  The place is located in the "Sierras de Maldonado", on Route 39, between the City of Aiguá and San Carlos, Maldonado region, Uruguay. There are more than 6 hectares of opportunities, mountain landscapes, native forest and bamboo.
  
  We are 32 km away from Aiguá and 42 km from San Carlos, you can access different services (supermarket, bank, mail, hospital, etc); 57 km away is the most important tourist city in Uruguay, Punta del Este; and less than 150 km from the main beaches of the Rocha region. 22 km away is Cerro Catedral (or Cerro Cordillera), the highest point in Uruguay with 514 m high.

  Somos Analaura y Lucía, viviendo en un espacio vivo e inspirador que promueve el bambú como herramienta de sanación planetaria para despertar a la naturaleza consciente que somos. Nuestro proyecto es una escuela para la regeneración eco-social a través de la experimentación, la creatividad, la transformación consciente y la producción sostenible de bambú, promoviendo oportunidades para todos.
  
  Trabajamos para rescatar la memoria ancestral de la "tacuara", conocida mundialmente como bambú. Convergemos en difundir sus beneficios, sus posibilidades de uso y transformación, y en revelar sus secretos más profundos, que son un regalo para todos. Con diferentes perfiles, creamos soluciones locales de bambú que son puentes y promueven la salud en las relaciones: con la naturaleza, con los demás y con uno mismo.
  
  El lugar está ubicada en las Sierras de Maldonado, sobre la ruta 39, entre la Ciudad de Aiguá y la de San Carlos, Departamento de Maldonado, Uruguay. Son más de 6 hectáreas de oportunidades, paisajes serranos, monte nativo y bambú.
  
  Estamos a 32 km de distancia de Aiguá y 42 km de San Carlos, se accede a diferentes servicios (supermercado, banco, correo, hospital, etc); a 57 km está la ciudad turística más importante de Uruguay, Punta del Este; y a menos de 150 km de las principales playas del Departamento de Rocha. A 22 km se encuentra el Cerro Catedral (o Cerro Cordillera), el punto más alto de Uruguay con 514 m de altura.

  In 2011, Analaura was reunited with bamboo after obtaining a scholarship in China and studying there for 2 months. Since then she has traveled to different places in Uruguay and America, giving workshops, talks, and learning every time. She usually leaves her comfort zone constantly using bamboo as a tool to unite different worlds: entrepreneurs, companies, students, consumers, producers and others.
  
  Lucia has always been interested in promoting and spreading awareness about nature, the environment and society. She is passionate about cultivating, knowing and learning about alternative education, disseminating and encouraging a sense of purpose in companies to integrate environmental, social and spiritual coherently. She is the swiss army knife of the team!
  
  Together we gathered 70 years of wisdom and for some years we were encouraged to realize the most desired dream: to live in communion with nature, on a path of consciousness, unity and coherence. At the end of 2017 we left our lives in the city, our field hockey team, our professional careers and formal jobs, to live our dreams TODAY. We both integrate and collaborate in various initiatives, companies, groups and networks related to Bamboo, Regenerative Projects, Circular Economy and Blue Economy, through various alliances.
  
  With different profiles and interests (art, creativity, education, permaculture, new economies and personal transformation) we create local bamboo solutions that bridge and promote health in the links: with nature, with others and with oneself. We have a huge library with all these themes, full of physical and digital books to share.
  
  We understand that our greatest legacy is a change of CONSCIOUSNESS. Today, visiting us implies a commitment first to yourself... it is an invitation to de-anesthetize ourselves and slow down to remember that we are nature, connecting with the most subtle aspect of bamboo. In this way we open ourselves to infinite possibilities to walk in circle again, in unity with the planet and all living beings.

  En 2011 Analaura se reencontró con el bambú luego de obtener una beca en China y estudiar allí durante 2 meses. Desde entonces ha viajado por diferentes lugares de Uruguay y de América, dando talleres, charlas, y aprendiendo en cada oportunidad. Suele salir de su zona de confort constantemente usando el bambú como herramienta para unir diferentes mundos: emprendedores, empresas, estudiantes, consumidores, productores y demás. Desde hace unos años se enfoca en integrar el aspecto más sutil y espiritual del bambú al quehacer empresarial.
  
  Lucía desde siempre estuvo interesada en promover y difundir la conciencia por la naturaleza, el entorno y la sociedad. Es una apasionada por cultivar, conocer y aprender sobre educación alternativa, difundir e incentivar un sentido de propósito en las empresas para integrar con coherencia lo medioambiental, social y espiritual. Ella es la navaja suiza del equipo !
  
  Juntas reunimos más de 70 años de sabiduría y desde hace algunos años nos animamos a materializar el sueño más anhelado: vivir en comunión con la naturaleza, en un camino de consciencia, unidad y coherencia. A fines de 2017 dejamos nuestras vidas en la ciudad, nuestro equipo de hockey sobre césped, nuestras carreras profesionales y los trabajos formales, para vivir nuestros sueños HOY. Ambas integramos y colaboramos en diversas iniciativas, empresas, grupos y redes relacionados a Bambú, Proyectos Regenerativos, Economía Circular y Economía Azul, a través de diversas alianzas.
  
  Con diferentes perfiles e intereses (arte, creatividad, educación, permacultura, nuevas economías y transformación personal) creamos soluciones locales en bambú que sean puente y promuevan la salud en los vínculos: con la naturaleza, con los demás y con uno mismo. Tenemos una biblioteca enorme con todas estas temáticas, llena de libros físicos y digitales para compartir.
  
  Entendemos que nuestro mayor legado es un cambio de CONSCIENCIA. Hoy, visitarnos, implica un compromiso primero contigo mismo... es una invitación a des-anestesiarnos y ralentizar para recordar que somos naturaleza, conectando con el aspecto más sutil del bambú. De esta manera nos abrimos a infinitas posibilidades para volver a caminar en círculo, en unidad con el planeta y todos los seres vivos.

  We expect visitors who are proactive and respectful of nature... our footprint in the world must be invisible. We need to team up with people who are capable of doing what needs to be done; we always have a list of daily, weekly and monthly activities, and we have a weekly team meeting for a tune-up. It's also good to relax and enjoy when you play; we enjoy generative encounters in which value is produced for all.
  
  * Help to keep the space: cutting wood and grass, water plants, maintain orchard, paint, among others. It’s valued the management of cutting tools, motors and mechanical knowledge.
  
  * Help to plant fruit trees, bamboo and food from the garden. Contributions with permacultural approach to space design, experience and knowledge of the requirements of trees, plants and other living plant beings are valued.
  
  * Labor for the production of jobs we have with bamboo. Experience, knowledge and responsible management of carpentry tools are valued.
  
  * Help as organizers and hosts when we have workshops or activities that we receive people.
  
  * Labor for the construction of residential spaces with wood, bamboo and other recycled materials. Experience and knowledge in traditional construction are valued, but preferably with natural materials (green building).   Valoramos mucho las charlas de calidad, así que eso ya es un buen punto de partida.
  
  Esperamos visitantes proactivos y respetuosos de la naturaleza... nuestra huella por el mundo tiene que ser invisible. Necesitamos hacer equipo con personas que sean capaces de hacer lo que hay que hacer; siempre tenemos una lista de actividades diarias, semanales y mensuales, y hacemos una reunión de equipo semanal para una puesta a punto. También es bueno relajarse y disfrutar cuando toca; disfrutamos de los encuentros generativos en los que se produce valor para todos.
  
  * Ayuda para mantener el espacio: cortar leña, cortar el pasto, mantener la huerta, regar, pintar. Se valora el manejo de herramientas de corte, motores y conocimiento mecánico.
  
  * Ayuda para plantar árboles frutales, bambú y alimento de la huerta. Se valora los aportes con enfoque permacultural del diseño del espacio, experiencia y conocimiento de los requerimientos de árboles, plantas y demás seres vivos vegetales.
  
  * Mano de obra para la producción de trabajos que tengamos, con bambú. Se valora la experiencia, conocimiento y manejo responsable de herramientas de carpintería.
  
  * Ayuda como organizadores y anfitriones cuando tengamos talleres o actividades que recibimos gente.
  
  * Mano de obra para la construcción de espacios habitacionales con madera, bambú y otros materiales reciclados.   - We have a tent trailer located in the shadow of the native forest. In it we lived for 1 year before having our next nest. It has a corridor in which you enter standing with a wing on each side that enters a mattress for 1 or for 2 in each one. Upstairs has a canvas roof. It does not close hermetically, it is an invitation to sleep in the mountains being nature. The bathroom is dry and is a few meters away.
  - If you prefer something more rustic we still have a Paraguayan hammock or mattresses to sleep under the stars. You can also bring your tent.

  - Contamos con un trailer carpa ubicado a la sombra del monte nativo. En él vivimos durante 1 año y medio antes de tener nuestro siguiente nido. Tiene un pasillo en el que se entra parado con un ala a cada lado, en la que entra un colchón de 1 plaza o de 2 en cada una. Arriba tiene un sobre techo de lona. No se cierra herméticamente, es una invitación a dormir en el monte siendo naturaleza. El baño es seco y está a unos metros.
  - Si prefieres algo más rústico aún tenemos una hamaca paraguaya o colchones para dormir bajo las estrellas. También puedes traer tu propia carpa.

  Route 39 has a bus service that goes from the department of Maldonado to Treinta y Tres, passing through Aiguá, San Carlos and Maldonado. This area is part of the "Arco del Sol" Tourist Circuit, a proposal that groups the rural area of the department of Maldonado, from Garzón to Solís. Those who like adventure sports, the area is ideal for bird watching, hiking, and bike rides, among others. In the region you can see different family farms of traditional olive, vine, agriculture and livestock production; little by little, different initiatives inspired by regeneration are concentrated.
  
  Day by day is relaxed, we define activities and objectives to be accomplished and we are doing, but we also get carried away by the intelligence of the physical, emotional and mental body. Mother Nature rules, and depending on how the day is presented we intersperse different types of activities. For example, in summer, if it is very hot, we go to some hidden gullies in the area or directly to the beach. Although we try to maintain an order, our personal work is often integrated with the work in the farm. We do not forget that "reading a book" is also a way of doing and nurturing ourselves. "If it's not fun, it's not sustainable."

  La ruta 39 cuenta con servicio de ómnibus que va desde el departamento de Maldonado a Treinta y Tres, pasando por Aiguá, San Carlos y Maldonado. Esta zona es parte del Circuito Turístico Arco del Sol, propuesta que agrupa la zona rural del departamento de Maldonado, desde Garzón hasta Solís. Quienes gustan del deporte aventura, la zona es ideal para realizar avistamiento de aves, caminatas, y paseos en bicicleta, entre otros. En la región se pueden ver diferentes granjas familiares de producción tradicional de olivares, vid, agricultura y ganadería; poco a poco se van concentrando diferentes iniciativas inspiradas en la regeneración.
  
  El día a día es relajado, definimos actividades y objetivos a cumplir y vamos haciendo, pero también nos dejamos llevar por la inteligencia del cuerpo físico, emocional y mental. La madre naturaleza manda, y según cómo se presente el día vamos intercalando diferentes tipos de actividades. Por ejemplo en verano, si hace mucho calor, vamos a unas cañadas escondidas por la zona, o directamente a la playa. Si bien intentamos mantener un orden, nuestro trabajo personal muchas veces se integra con el trabajo en la chacra. No nos olvidamos que "leer un libro" también es una manera de hacer y nutrirnos. "Si no es divertido, no es sustentable".
