Hey all!
I'm Bálint, a Hungarian guy volunteering and traveling in Portugal.
Currently I'm between Workaways in Portugal.

I have already done building tasks, general maintenance, grass strimming, lifting heavy stuff, I also make Youtube videos about my experiences, which is very exciting.
Last year I was helping renovate this Swedish wooden cabin or "stuga":

Currently I'm very much interested in learning self-sufficiency, growing vegetables, garden work, learning to work with animals, being in nature, being part of a commune of people helping each other grow. I used to have small balcony gardens and loved them, I recently started baking my own sourdough bread.
I have varying degrees of experience in different things.
I have already been a:
- digital content creator (video editing, graphic illustrations, blogging, vlogging, post texts)
- drummer and bedroom musician: recorded my own music and drum covers

- hiker: started doing the cross-country Hungarian Blue Trail (Kéktúra), did 800 km so far.
- cyclist: I wascycling everywhere almost daily (back in Hungary)

I speak English (and Hungarian of course) fluently and I could teach those. I also speak some German - learned it for 3 years but forgot a lot as I'm not using it every day. I can also speak some Swedish.

I'd really like to learn farming, gardening, working with animals, self-sufficiency, maintenance work.
11 years ago I was working in the kitchen of a summer camp in Pennsylvania, USA and have been wanting to have similar experience ever since.
in addition to these, don't be afraid to give me anything you'd like help with, I'm pretty sure I can manage
