Somos Amin y Chiara, una pareja que lleva casi un año recorriendo América Latina sin prisa y con los ojos abiertos. Nos conocimos en Guatemala y desde entonces viajamos movidos por una intuición simple: crecer, ayudar y aprender de las personas y los lugares que nos reciben.

Amin es francés, tiene 28 años y un corazón muy práctico. Es ingeniero, pero sobre todo es alguien que disfruta trabajar con sus manos, reparar, construir, ordenar un espacio y dejar algo mejor que como lo encontró.
Chiara es argentina, 24 años, y escribe crónicas sobre el viaje interior y exterior. También cocina, organiza, cuida los detalles y cuenta historias con fotos, videos y palabras.

Hablamos español, francés e inglés, y ahora también jugamos con el portugués que está empezando a aparecer en nuestro día a día.

Lo que buscamos en un voluntariado es más que un intercambio: queremos integrarnos de verdad, sentir el ritmo del lugar, compartir el trabajo cotidiano y dejar una huella útil y humana. Nos gustan los proyectos con alma, con naturaleza, con creación, con silencios y conversaciones sinceras.

Viajamos sin plan rígido, guiados por la curiosidad y la gratitud, y siempre con ganas de aportar nuestra energía donde haga falta.

We are Amin and Chiara, a couple traveling across Latin America for almost a year, slowly and intentionally. We met in Guatemala, and since that moment our journey has been guided by simple values: to learn, to help, and to connect with people and places in a real way.

Amin, from France, 28 years old, is an engineer but mostly someone who loves working with his hands — building, repairing, organizing, giving shape to things, and leaving spaces better than he found them.
Chiara, from Argentina, 24 years old, writes chronicles about both the outer and inner journey. She cooks, organizes, takes care of the small details, and brings stories to life through photography, video, and words.

We speak French, Spanish, and English, and now we’re slowly embracing Portuguese as we move toward Brazil.

For us, volunteering is not just an exchange; it’s a way to truly integrate into a project, to feel its rhythm, to share the daily work, and to contribute something meaningful. We’re drawn to places with soul — with nature, creation, community, silence, laughter, and genuine encounters.

We travel without rushing, guided by curiosity, gratitude, and the desire to give our energy where it is needed.

Amin tiene manos que entienden la materia: puede levantar una pared de adobe, reparar lo que se rompe, ordenar un espacio y darle forma a lo que parecía caótico. Tiene paciencia, claridad y una forma tranquila de trabajar que contagia calma.

Chiara tiene un sentido natural del hogar y de la belleza: cocina con cariño, cuida los detalles, mantiene los espacios vivos y armoniosos. Y además escribe. Sus crónicas, sus fotos y sus videos capturan el alma de los lugares y cuentan historias que no siempre se ven a simple vista.

Juntos somos buenos para adaptarnos, para aprender rápido, para escuchar y para respetar el ritmo del lugar.
Nos gusta contribuir con el cuerpo, con la cabeza y con el corazón.

Our skills come from the road.
Amin works with his hands in a way that brings things back to life — building with earth, fixing what’s broken, organizing tools, creating order where there was none. He’s patient, steady, and practical, and his way of working makes people feel at ease.

Chiara has a natural sense for home and harmony: she cooks, organizes, brings warmth into a space, and pays attention to the small things that make a place feel alive. And she writes. Her chronicles, photos, and videos capture the soul of the places we visit and turn them into stories.

Together, we adapt quickly, we learn fast, we listen well, and we enjoy contributing with our hands, our minds, and our hearts.

Creemos que las experiencias más significativas nacen cuando uno se abre al mundo con ganas de aprender, ayudar y dejarse transformar por las personas que encuentra en el camino. Este viaje por las Américas ha sido nuestra manera de vivir esa verdad cada día.

Como pareja, somos adaptables, trabajadores y siempre dispuestos a colaborar donde haga falta. Ya sea apoyando en las tareas diarias, participando en un proyecto, compartiendo historias durante una comida o simplemente aportando buena energía, vemos cada oportunidad como un espacio para crecer y contribuir. Nos encanta descubrir nuevas formas de hacer las cosas, aprender de las comunidades locales y dejar una huella positiva, aunque sea pequeña.

Nos apasiona cocinar, los idiomas, el storytelling, la creatividad y el trabajo manual —desde construir con nuestras manos hasta sembrar en un huerto. Pero, por encima de todo, valoramos la autenticidad, la amabilidad y la belleza de las conexiones humanas. Conocer gente de otras culturas, escuchar sus historias y ofrecer un poco de las nuestras es una de las partes más bonitas de viajar juntos.

Para nosotros, cada voluntariado no es solo trabajo: es la posibilidad de pertenecer, aunque sea por un tiempo, a un lugar que está creando algo importante.

We love discovering new ways of doing things, learning from local communities, and leaving behind a positive mark — even a small one.

We’re passionate about cooking, languages, storytelling, creativity, and physical work — from building something with our hands to planting seeds in a garden. More than anything, we value authenticity, kindness, and the beauty of simple human connection. Meeting people from different cultures, listening to their stories, and offering a part of ours is one of our favorite parts of traveling as a couple.

For us, every volunteer experience is not just work — it’s the chance to belong, even temporarily, to a place that is creating something meaningful.
