A magical place for sound healing in Plaški, Croatia

  Hi,
  I live in an extraordinarily beautiful part of Croatia called Lika. My house is very close to Jezero Sinjac, a surprisingly deep natural spring with four little lakes, surrounded by forests and open fields. The location is remote and remarkably peaceful.
  
  This is the first year I have lived here with Leah my gentle and happy dog. I work as a Spiritual Guide and Sound Healer and run Workshops etc (for donations).
  
  My home is nearly finished and is warm and cosy in winter, and nice and cool in the summer, however the garden and the land around the house are still very much work in progress! I'm looking for assistance in developing the terrace and garden, identifying and nurturing the herbs on the land and also clearing some amazing spaces behind the house in order that they can be used for Sound Healing etc.
  
  I would like volunteers who are capable of digging and lifting as well as basic DIY skills, especially working with wood. I would particularly welcome people who would appreciate the opportunity of immersing themselves for some time in nature.
  
  The House is in a very quiet and remote location and usually the only sounds are those of the birds and the small river running out of the lakes.
  
  I can be reasonably flexible about dates, however I do have fixed diary commitments.

  I am British so the working language is English, though I am learning Croatian.
  The nearest small town is Plaški, which is 6 kilometres away, so this is an opportunity is to really spend time immersed in nature.
  As a Sound Healer I also can offer you a Sound Bath . If you are a Nature Lover then time here will really nurture your Soul.

  Arbeit

  I now have a big terrace on the side of the house with beautiful stone walls and it will eventually have an outdoor shower, summer kitchen and wood store etc but these are not yet finished.
  The land close to the house needs quite a bit of help, clearing and cleaning, building a compost toilet, making flowerbeds linked to parking spaces, creating a fire pit, making wooden benches, planting trees……..
  Then there are the herbs on the land in front of the house and behind the house there are Dragon Nests in need of clearing!

  The accommodation is in the lower floor of my house, I will provide a vegetarian breakfast and an evening meal.
  The accommodation has one bedroom with bunk beds, and a communal room with sofa beds. Leah also sleeps in the communal room!
  There is a toilet downstairs and a bathroom upstairs. Towels and bedding are provided and there's a kettle and a hot plate available on the terrace.

  By car, I am an hour and a half away from Zagreb airport and 15 minutes away from Plaški train station. Ogulin is 35 minutes away and I'm happy to pick you up from any of these. (with a contribution for petrol.) Parking is available here if you come in a car.
  The world renown and beautiful Plitvice lakes are about 45 minutes away, the other side of the mountain, and if after being here, you would like to explore some of the amazing Croatia islands, the train from Plaški goes directly to Split (all be it slowly!)
  There is not a lot to do locally except hiking, or just spending time in the most beautiful and peaceful nature!
