  Hello! I'm Francisca, a singer, sound healer, voice activator, and teacher of presence. In 2022, I arrived at a magical piece of land in my little Dutch car "Mad Max," packed with all my worldly possessions. With friends, in the first year, I transformed the neglected land into a place of comfort; the year after I started to build my house, and now that the house is almost finished I feel I have space and time for people to come and enjoy this place, while helping it to evolve into the vision I have for it.
  
  Are you looking for a nature retreat near magical mountains, multiple rivers, and a charming village? Do you want to experience off-the-grid living? Enjoy outdoor showers, swim in rivers, hike trails, and explore abandoned villages and waterfalls? When you stay here, it is important that you feel comfortable in your own company and in nature.

  It is not just a place to help and stay; it is a sanctuary that promotes a deeper spiritual connection. Through sound meditation circles, guided by Francisca, and regular yoga sessions in the local yoga studio, it provides a nurturing environment for inner exploration and self-discovery. ( you can be part of this if you want) but you dont have to
  It is difficult to name all the benefits you receive from being in nature... We will also find more peaceful ways of being with ourselves and therefor with others, we will explore the ways of Portugal and discover that every day is an adventure! We build a cold water pool, a yoga deck, little micro shelters, sauna, water canals, perma garden, plant trees, organize concerts and we will sing and listen to our inner sound.
  Here, you will find solace and a mindful togetherness that nourishes your soul.

  Arbeit

  In our first phase of constructing our vision, we have practical hands-on needs to be fulfilled.
  We will talk about everything in advance and see from both sides if we feel we can be a satisfying match to avoid disappointments.
  
  I appreciate the diverse talents that individuals bring to this place, fostering a collaborative environment where each role contributes to collective growth is whay I aim for.
  
  IN advance we will always discuss the way we work together and how we value this before you come. What do you bring to the table, what do I bring to the table. What you hope to get out of this and vice versa.
  
  Life in Portugal has a slow pase. Plans and goals are for the future but in the here and now we do what lies in front of us. We are still shaping the land and building. And it might not alsways be what you are used to at home.
  
  What is needed now;
  Muscle power, building experience, woodwork, no fear of tools.
  Why?
  
  We will be cleaning the water stream to make a little ice bath for ourselves, with the branches of the willow we will build a Temsacal and if people with some carpenter skills arrive we will build a wooden sauna. But it can also mean that something pops up in front of us that seems to have a priority, and than we help on that..
  Much is possible. It is all hands on tasks, this means you have to be a little bit of a grounded outdoor person that is not afraid to get sweaty and dirty.
  
  I have not yet started with a vegetable garden, I will do that in autumn. But we can start with the layout and a plan. I have no idea how to do that, so it must be fun and easy!

  Unterkunft

  I am in the building phase but there are two lovely caravans on the land where you can live, with your own little kitchen.
  I also welcome people that want to camp in a tent or want to park with a campervan.
  We have a shared kitchen area and we have a shared toilet.
  
  It is Off grid, 2 hectares of nature close to a river, bordering a little stream, and with running water from a water mine. Lots of swimming river pools in walking distance. ( SOme are very private)
  
  On the days we step into cocreation we eat lunch together.
  We aim to work 4 days and have 3 days available for you to be in our own space and enjoy the surroundings.
  
  On the days that we cocreate we will eat together as a team. In summer we help in the morning hours (9am-1pm) and afterwards we eat a proper extensive lunch like the portuguese do and go for a swim at the river pools that are nearby to wash off the dirt and the sweat.

  The lush bio divers environment here is amazing. There is so much water...
  We are 1 hour away from the Atlantic ocean beaches and right at the foot of the "montanhas mágicas".
  Immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters of myriad river pools, traverse breathtaking hiking trails that whisper ancient Roman secrets, or wander through captivating abandoned villages and majestic waterfalls. Sit between the locals at the cafes and Pastelerias and try out all the names they have for different types of coffee.
  The group dynamic, our personal needs and the here and now and other circumstances (like the weather) determine if we plan trips together, if we work or if we spend the weekends as a group or not..

  If you stay in one of the caravans you will have electricity from the main solarpanels. If you come with a tent or a campervan than you have to be able to provide yourself with enough battery power. it is best to buy a data card here to make a hotspot for yourself. Reception is good on the land with NOS and MEO.

  YES PLEASE! Self sustainable people can stay and have there own space in nature. There is enough space to park your van and create a nice private place for yourself. Biggest van here was: 2.40 x 8.10m. We have a common place where you can charge your devices.
